Cabin with boathouse and boat on beautiful Hidra

Detached house with rich history, built around 1660. Over the past 10 years, the house has been renovated and modernized, and is now suitable as a holiday home for one or two families, with all the modern facilities you need. 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen, 2 living rooms. Large garden and fields belonging to the cabin. There is a boathouse 100 meters below the cabin, by the canal. 14 ft boat, 9.9 hp, included. Hidra is a beautiful island with great nature, hiking trails with great viewpoints, coastal communities, beaches, fishing opportunities, boating, lake The space The cabin is rich in history, and has at most housed 3 families at a time. The cabin has been modernized and renovated over the last 10 years, and today has everything you want from a modern house, while preserving as much as possible of the original building's character. With running water, a new bathroom (one bathroom) and a new kitchen, you will not miss anything. Parties/stag and hen parties and the like are not allowed. It is suitable for one or two families at the cabin at a time. Three families are also possible, but we think it will be too cramped - there is only one bathroom. There are a total of 11 beds in the cabin divided into 4 rooms, with 4 double beds. An extra single bed can be brought down from the loft if desired, then we must be notified in advance. In the loft living room/bedroom on the 2nd floor there is a double bed and a double sofa bed. In the high bedroom there is a double bed and a single bed. In the bedroom on the 1st floor, the lower part of the bunk bed is 1.4 meters wide, and the top part is 80 cm wide. The last bedroom has a single bed. There are duvets and pillows for 10 beds. Bed linen on the beds. In the kitchen it is 1.89 meters under the beams, while it is higher between the beams. Otherwise, there are good floor heights, but low doors. The stairs to the 2nd floor are steep and there are high thresholds between the rooms. All walls are insulated, and on the 1st floor there is a concrete floor with underfloor heating in the kitchen and in the entrance, bathroom and bedroom. The boat is a 14-foot boat with 9.9 horsepower. It is well suited to get around the island in fine weather, but is a little small to take out in the Hidrasundet (north side) if there is a little wind. Then you should limit yourself to the south side of the island. It is always important to respect the dangers of the sea when on a boat. The boat has space for 5/6 people. Guest access There is a charger for electric cars on the outer wall, type 2 charger, "Norgesladeren", which guests can use. There is an outdoor shed with garden furniture, a kettle grill, and toys. There are two kayaks for adults, and a kayak for children, in the boathouse, which can be borrowed. Respect the sea. All additional equipment for kayaks is also in the boathouse. The kayaks are of an older type, but functional. You are free to use the garden and the plain, and the playground by the beech trees. The frisbee golf course at the cabin can also be used, but remember that you should not throw so that you risk throwing over to neighbors. The course is designed so that there should never be a risk of throwing over to neighbors. The frisbee golf course is a 9-hole course, where 4 curves are used several times. The course is both marked and signposted, and the curves are RPM's PDGA-approved curves. There are extra frisbees for loan at the cabin, in the shed. The barn is not available for guests, both for security reasons and because it is used for private storage. The loft/attic is not available for guests, as we store private belongings there. Similarly, there are 3 cabinets in which we have private items, which are not meant for guests. Other things to note The cabin is located close to the neighboring cabin, with only half a meter between the buildings. The neighboring cabin is used 2-3 weeks a year. In front of the cabin there is a common access road for our cabin and for the neighboring cabin. Apart from that, the cabin is relatively sheltered, and you will experience privacy at the cabin. There is a right of way in front of the cabin, for a hiking trail that goes up the cabin, and in front of the cabin. The hiking trails are rarely in use, but are used a few times by locals, and are therefore allowed.
