Dia Delight

No car needed in this cul de sac. Our clean and comfortable semidetached home is close to The Dia (5 min walk), the Beacon Metro-North train station (12 min walk) and Main Street (12 min walk to Max’s). This is a great option for city travelers to enjoy some nature and quiet. This is a great vacation rental home which is good for everyone. We’re happy to have you enjoy a home and neighborhood we love. Please be aware that while the house is child friendly, it is not a child proofed home. The space Our lovely home has everything you need! Full kitchen, great outdoor space with BBQ, and clean and comfortable bedrooms! New bathtub/shower installed 1/2020! Sleeping arrangements Bedroom 1: 1 queen bed Bedroom 2: 1 full bed Bedroom 3: Daybed with twin mattress and a twin trundle bed We also have a queen air mattress if needed; please note there is an extra guest fee if this will be used. For single people or couples, we will consider reduced rates for rental and cleaning fees. Please contact us and describe your situation, size of party and intent of use and we'll see if we can work with you to design rates that are fair for everyone. We're hoping you’ll have some patience and understanding as we learn how to make this place as warm and cozy for you as it is for us. We are looking forward to hearing your feedback so that we can make it even better. Guest access You have access to the whole house, except for the master closet and shed in the backyard. There are two other closets that are available for your use, as well as an armoire or dresser in each room. Kitchen is fully stocked and has everything you need! Full set of pots and pans, dishware, glasses/mugs, utensils, barbecue utensils, etc. We have a toaster oven, oven/stove, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and a regular coffee maker. Just grab a few groceries at Key Food in town (about a 12 minute walk) and you’ll be all set! Air: There is an air conditioner in dining/living area. During the summer months, we have air conditioners in each of the three bedrooms; you will be unable to open the windows in two of the three bedrooms while the air conditioners are installed. We take the bedroom air conditioners out towards the end of the summer. Please let us know if you have a preference regarding the air conditioners. Large window/box fans are available for all three rooms. Heat: Electric heat. Please be considerate and turn down when leaving/sleeping. Fireplace: no use allowed. Access to entire house and property, except for the master closet and shed. iPhone chargers are available too! We have a couple handy. We also have Alexa and a bluetooth Jam speaker, and chargers for those. Outside area has a screened in porch—we love it. And, a five burner barbecue is available for your use. We have an extra propane tank too!
