We are a space designed for adults only. We are located in a central and quiet area, just 1 block from the lagoon and 8 blocks from the central square. We want you to have a unique experience, so we turned a traditional house into a space full of magic and Mexican culture. Our common areas, surrounded by nature and local fauna, will invite you to enjoy and relax. In the morning we want to pamper you so don't worry about anything, we will be waiting for you with a delicious breakfast. The space CASA TLACUACHE has everything you need to make your stay in Bacalar an unforgettable memory. You will be located in one of the best areas of the village very close to the “dock of 36”. It is public and you can enjoy as long as you want in the lagoon, as well as contemplate one of the best sunrises. Walking along the coast, you'll reach the main square and the Fort of San Felipe in less than 15 minutes. On your way, you'll find a wide variety of cafes, restaurants, shops, bars, and cultural centers. You have everything very close by to have an amazing time. Our accommodation has 6 beautiful private rooms and spacious common areas that invite you to rest and relax. We created this space with the intention of inviting you to disconnect from the daily routine and stress, and that is why we chose not to have televisions in the accommodation. We want this space to be a temple for you to connect with the culture, nature, and quiet life of the village. The accommodation has free WiFi in case you need it, and in the mornings, to make your experience in this beautiful magical village complete and enriching, we also invite you to our breakfasts that have the unparalleled seasoning of deep Mexico. Therefore, your room N3, which is one of our smaller rooms (8 square meters) but also one of the most charming, has: 1 queen size bed with gel mattress. 4 soft pillows. 300 thread count cotton sheets. Hair dryer We like to respect the times and independence of our guests, and that is why we chose to provide you with an automated entrance to the accommodation and your room, so that after check-in time, you can arrive at the time you want. We are an eco-friendly accommodation and therefore we make our best effort to conserve energy, protect the environment and the lagoon. We use organic shampoo and soap, separate waste, do not throw papers in the toilets, provide reusable glass water bottles, respect the native fauna and flora, try to save energy and take care of the water. Other things to note Other things to note Considerations: Bacalar is quite the adventure and some streets remain very rustic and poorly lit. Don't worry, despite this, it's still a lovely and safe place. Keep in mind that we are a small town but one that is constantly growing. Since we do not have the adequate infrastructure for the high demand of recent years, there are sometimes failures in different areas of Bacalar in the services of electricity, water, internet, telephone, etc. It is not frequent, but these services may be interrupted on occasion and for different reasons such as weather (rains or very strong winds) or maintenance carried out by the company itself. This is beyond our control, but we'll do our best to help if this happens during your stay. It's important to know that we're surrounded by jungle, fresh water, and mangroves, so it's common to have mosquitoes and other insects, or to encounter endemic animals such as iguanas, opossums, and squirrels. They don't hurt and help keep nature's rhythm, so please don't hurt them if you see them. In the accommodation, we try to take all the necessary measures so that they do not affect you. We provide you with body repellent and carry out periodic disinfection with professionals.
