The space A fabulous home-away-from-home, with lovely countryside views and a woodland garden, and comfy modern furniture and styling - there's a fabulous super-king bed, a woodburing stove for snug nights in, free fast Wi-Fi, a smart TV and if, like us, you love to cook, you'll love the well-equipped kitchen, with oven & four ring gas hob, microwave, toaster, washing machine, fridge with ice-box, plenty of pots, pans and serving dishes, and a dishwasher. There's also a lovely, modern bathroom, with toilet, wash basin and shower cubicle. Good quality bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided - the lodge has a fabulous, roomy super-king bed: we usually make up the bed with a super-king duvet; however, we are happy to make up the bed with two single duvets, if you prefer. Please let us know if you would like us to provide two single duvets when you book. A welcome pack including fresh eggs from our small flock of hens, who roam and forage in our garden orchard, organic tea, ground coffee and Scottish biscuits, and milk and sugar will be there when you arrive, along with some essentials - loo roll, soap, dish washer tabs, cleaning products, etc., - to get you started, as well as fresh flowers, guest and local information. The woodburing stove is set ready for you to light on arrival, and wood fuel, kindling, matches and firelighters are provided at no charge. There's off-road, private parking beside the lodge in the large garden grounds. Where possible, we use and provide organic, fair trade and/or environmentally friendly cleaning and welcome pack products, locally purchased. For foodies, Beauly village, a short drive away, has everything you need to create your favourite meals in your lodge using great local produce - there's a butcher, baker, delicatessen, farm shop, green grocers and grocery shopping, as well as the travelling Friday fish van (check with us for times). If you prefer to eat out or take away, there's an Indian restaurant, Chinese takeaway and a chippy and you'll find a few great cafés for grabbing a lunch snack. Dogs stay for free, and your companions are welcomed with a pot of treats, poop bags, water bowl, dog towel for drying off after rambles and local information. Look out for wild visitors to the woodland garden - red squirrels and wood peckers are regularly spotted and badgers, pine martens and owls are sometimes seen! DOGS WELCOME - By arrangement, up to three dogs are welcome to stay with you - there is no charge for your dogs joining you on your holiday. You must inform us that you wish to bring along your canine companion/s at the time of booking. Why do we need to know that you are bringing along pets? Safety for ourselves and our visiting staff is uppermost in our minds when we ask you to let us know if you are bringing dogs to stay with you - when we drop in to say hi or to deal with bins and/or maintenance, we want to be prepared for the possibility of encountering dogs in the garden grounds and lodge. We also want to ensure that your dogs get our wee doggy welcome pack and that you have our guide with links to the best walks and dog-friendly places to visit and the contact details of our most local vet, etc. SINGLE DUVETS - Let us know if you would prefer us to make up the bed with two single duvets, rather than one super-king duvet.
