Located on the hills of Oamaru, this farm stay will suit any traveller. It’s a one-bedroom unit, with a new bathroom build in 2022. In the morning you’ll be greeted by a beautiful sunrise. Alpaca’s will be just outside your doorstep. A healthy breakfast hamper is provided. It’s an ideal place to come back to after you venture out and explore Victorian Oamaru, ride the famous Alps2Ocean cycle track, watch the penguins come out of the sea or any of the many other activities this town provides. The space We are about 4.5 km's away from the historical centre of Oamaru. The BnB is located just beside the main homestead. Through the main window you can see alpacas come up to feed on the grass! Alpacas are wonderful animals to look at, but be careful around them. They may kick and they may spit. Always ask me or my wife Margitta if you want to have a closer look or feed them. You can pet them on their neck. Please do not pet them on the head as they don't like that. In the morning a breakfast hamper will be delivered at your doorstep. You can let me know what time you want it on the day of your arrival. Breakfast consists out of: fresh fruit, home made muesli, milk, toast, jam, cheese, ham, tea and coffee. Wifi is provided but it’s ‘rural’, connection may be a bit spotty. Guest access Feel free to wander around the garden and the first section of the paddocks. Please leave gates as you found them. If the animals run away from you, please do not chase them. Remember, you are in their home. Other things to note We have 2 cats, 3 chickens and 7 alpacas that are sharing this lifestyle block with us. Please be respectful to the animals. Just a reminder to please not let them into the unit, no matter how much they want to. We have three boy alpacas (macho's) Lawrence Hugo Keppler, as a stud male, he has his own paddock. Our 4 female alpacas (hembra's) are: Hinau Lacebark Eyebright Hazel The cats are: Hero, the white cat Toby, the black cat
