Sunflower Manor is a historic Victorian mansion with a modern twist. Built in 1890 and fully renovated in 2022, this property was designed with group gatherings in mind. Common areas include a large parlor, dining table that seats ten, pool table, sunroom, and an equipped chef's kitchen. Each bedroom has a private bathroom and blackout curtains. The house features classic Victorian architecture including high ceilings and charming detail work including custom designed stained glass windows. The house is setup for remote check in. Rooms are individually keyed. Common areas are shared with your party. Cameras are located outside the property and are reviewed only if there is an issue. The property is located in the Sunbury Historic District. It is directly across the street from the Susquehanna River and has an access point for the riverfront park, where you can enjoy a romantic sunset stroll. Soak in the small town charm along Market Street (less than 10 minute walk away), a walkable old town mainstreet with coffee shops, local restaurants, Eclipse Craft Brewery tasting room, the first ever Weis market, and unique shops. Just off Market Street is Iron Vines Winery with live music most weekends (8 minute walk). The Whispering Oaks vineyard (10 minute drive) boasts the best view of the valley and Spyglass Ridge (10 minute drive) is known for their large summer concerts. The house has two parking spaces on site in the courtyard and to the left of the house. There is open street parking on the block. This historic home has four steps to get in the front door. All bedrooms are on the second or third floor. No elevator access. We have a professional cleaning service that does a full turn-down of the house between guests. This service is included in the price of your booking. Security cameras are outside the property but not inside the building.
