Welcome to Casa Terrazas del Sol! This is our bright, semi-detached house located in a quiet residential area in La Herradura, on the Costa Tropical. It is a fantastic spot if you appreciate open space and beautiful sea views, which you can see from every single floor of the house. Whether you want to relax, explore, or combine work with sunshine — this house has everything you need. The space The house features three independent terraces with sea views, a private sauna, and a small pool with a counter-current system. It is a comfortable, sun-drenched space located in a quiet area—perfect for a relaxing holiday or remote work. The villa is built on a hillside and spans three levels. This guarantees the best views, but it also means there are quite a few stairs to climb throughout the house. – MIDDLE FLOOR (ENTRANCE LEVEL): This is where you enter the house. It features the main living area with a cozy living room, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. We have prepared it with modern appliances, including a microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. This level opens up directly to the main terrace with a dining table and a gas barbecue, making it perfect for outdoor meals with a view. From this terrace, you can also directly access the private sauna located just next to the house. – UPPER FLOOR: Walking upstairs from the living area, you will find an open-plan master bedroom (designed without a traditional door) with a comfortable bed, a bathroom, and its own private balcony offering the absolute best panoramic views. – LOWEST LEVEL: Descending the stairs from the living room, you will find two quiet bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bedrooms on this floor have direct access to the lower terrace. – LOWER TERRACE: This bottom terrace is the perfect place to unwind. It features our private plunge pool , along with comfortable sun loungers where you can sunbathe and enjoy a beautiful view of the sea. From here, a set of external stairs leads straight up to the sauna area. Guest access GUEST ACCESS AND LOCATION DETAILS – PARKING AND ACCESS: The property features 2 private, dedicated parking spaces located inside a gated residential complex. Please note that our house is beautifully situated on a hillside to offer you those breathtaking sea views. Because of this unique location, the driveway leading to the parking area is quite steep. While it might feel a bit adventurous the first time you drive down, it is perfectly manageable for any standard passenger car and experienced driver. – ACCESSIBILITY NOTE (STAIRS): Because the villa is situated high on a hillside and spans three separate levels, there are very many stairs on-site (both inside the house and down to the entrance). It is absolutely not suitable for elderly guests, anyone with mobility difficulties, or anyone who struggles with steps. – POOL & SAFETY: The private plunge pool measures 2x3 meters with a depth of 1 meter and features a counter-current system. It does not have a lifeguard. For safety reasons, children and non-swimmers must always be under strict adult supervision. Diving or jumping into the pool is strictly prohibited. – NEIGHBORHOOD AND DOGS: This is a semi-detached house (a duplex), meaning you share a wall with neighbors. It is a local residential area, so you will hear standard sounds of daily life. The immediate next-door neighbor has dogs that bark from time to time, so please note it is not a completely silent property. – TRANSPORT AND BEACH ACCESS: The beach, local seaside restaurants, and cafés can be reached on foot in about 10–12 minutes downhill. The village center is about a 20–25 minute walk away. Please keep in mind that the return walk back to the villa is entirely uphill. For your comfort, we highly recommend renting a car. – OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES: La Herradura is fantastic for outdoor activities, ranging from hiking and cycling to paragliding and world-class scuba diving, kayaking, or exploring the wider Costa Tropical region. – DAY TRIPS: Our location is perfect for exploring Andalusia. Both Malaga and Granada (with the famous Alhambra) are about a 1-hour drive. – SKI AND SEA: The Sierra Nevada ski resort is 115 km away (an 1-hour and 30-minute drive). From November to April, you can enjoy skiing in the morning and relax by the sea in the afternoon. Other things to note To ensure full transparency, please review the house rules and optional fees which are managed outside the base rate: – SAUNA: €50 / week (to cover increased electricity consumption). – POOL HEATING: €70 / week (optional feature for year-round swimming, not needed from June to end of September). – AIR CONDITIONING: Please turn off the air conditioning whenever you leave the house to avoid unnecessary energy waste. – PRIVATE AND VACATION USE ONLY: The property is meant strictly for residential and holiday purposes. Organizing parties, commercial events, loud music, conferences, or stag/hen nights is strictly prohibited to respect our neighbors. – GUEST POLICY: The presence of any outside guests who were not registered during check-in is not allowed and will result in the immediate termination of the stay. – EXTERNAL CAMERA: An external security camera is installed above the main entrance door area only. – PETS: We maintain a strict no-pets policy. – MANDATORY GUEST REGISTRATION: In accordance with Spanish law, all guests must register their ID data prior to check-in.
