Ski slopes and cross-country trails are just minutes away: the perfect winter mountain retreat. The space Le Refuge is a spacious 110 m² holiday home designed to comfortably accommodate 6 guests. The large 45 m² living area features a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, dining area and a cosy lounge with a wood-burning stove. Large windows allow you to fully enjoy the exceptional 180° panoramic views over the Haut-Jura landscapes. The property has 3 bedrooms, including one with a private bathroom, as well as 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets. Comfort has been carefully considered throughout, with underfloor heating, quality bedding, a fully equipped kitchen and generous living spaces. Outside, you can enjoy your own private terrace overlooking the surrounding nature. A shared storage room is also available for skis, bikes and outdoor equipment, with a ski-waxing bench. Travelling with a baby? Baby equipment is available free of charge upon request, including a travel cot, high chair, baby bath and potty. Guest access Le Refuge is located at the end of a 400-metre private road, in a peaceful and unspoilt natural setting. Yet the centre of Prémanon is only 800 metres away, with shops, restaurants and the ice rink within walking distance. In winter, you are right in the heart of the Les Rousses ski area: downhill ski slopes are around 5 minutes away by car, cross-country ski trails are accessible from the village, and a ski-bus stop less than 500 metres away provides easy access to the different ski areas. For hiking, mountain biking or snowshoeing, there is no need to take the car: many trails can be accessed directly from the property. A shared secure storage room is also available for skis, bikes and outdoor equipment, with a ski-waxing bench. Enjoy the peace of being surrounded by nature, while staying just minutes from the village and mountain activities. Other things to note Le Refuge is set within a beautifully restored traditional Jura stone farmhouse. The building is home to two independent holiday rentals as well as our own home. Each accommodation has its own private entrance and private outdoor space, allowing everyone to enjoy their stay in complete privacy. For your comfort, bed linen and towels are provided, beds are made before your arrival, and end-of-stay cleaning is included. Le Refuge also has its own washing machine and Wi-Fi. We live on site while always respecting our guests’ privacy and peace. Being nearby also means that we can easily be available should you need any assistance during your stay.
