The Cider House at Upton Cressett Hall

A charming cottage on a private estate with a downstairs bedroom and bathroom ideal for families of all generations. The downstairs bedroom boast large French windows and has been carefully decorated to give it a fresh country feel. A comfortable super king bed and room for a cot if needed. It’s en-suite bedroom has been carefully designed with a walk in wet room style shower with overhead and handheld option. The up stairs bedroom has a king size bed and a single bed and its own bathroom. The space The Cider House is a charming two bed property over two floors with a well planned ground floor that works especially well for families with a member with limited mobility needs. It has wide oak floor throughout with beautiful French windows looking out onto a garden view with ancient woodland beyond. It has a fully fitted bespoke granite kitchen with a top and bottom Rangemaster Professional oven and large double fridge. The sitting room has an open log fire and large smart TV with comfortable cream sofa and armchairs. The downstairs bedroom is spacious with a super king bed looking out of French windows. It’s been sympathetically decorated in a chic country style with room for a travel cot if needed. It’s specious luxury bathroom has been thoughtfully designed for multiple generational use with both a bath and a wet room style shower with the option of both overhead and handheld shower heads. The floor is non-slip with tiles from the National Trust collection based on tiles at Wimpole Hall. The upstairs bedroom in red Toile de Joile has a charming county cottage feel with a king size bed and a single bed. The bathroom has a bath with stand up shower option as well as luxury fittings and a shower mixer for the bathroom. Guest access Guest have there own terrace. Guests are allowed to walk around the grounds of the Hall, woodland garden and down to the Norman church. Other things to note Guests have access to the historic gardens of Upton Cressett and church of St. Michaels. The Cider House can be taken with our adjacent Moat House (sleeps 4 in two en-suite rooms) and Coach House (sleeps 6 in 2 double ensuite rooms and mezzanine twin room up a spiral staircase) Breakfast Hampers of locally sourced produce can be ordered as an additional cost by request. Linen is changed weekly for those staying more than 7 nights. Fires - the log baskets are filled on arrival and fire laid. If you wish to order additional logs and kinderling this is by the net bag at cost. You may wish to do this in advance of your stay. Free parking onsite for two cars. Please park at the back of the Dragon Hall next to the property. Maid service/extra cleaning by request A cot and high chair can be provided on request.
