The Hideaway at Fairview

If you’re looking for breathtaking views in the heart of Staffs Moorlands then The Hideaway is the place for you. Enjoy a relaxed walk into the local village of Brown Edge or go further a field to one of our historic market towns, Leek. Walking boots are a must as we also have The Roaches on our doorstep, a must for all avid walkers and don’t forget about your four legged fur friend. Or if it’s a hot shower, a warm drink & a good book then snuggle on in. The space The Hideaway is a cosy self-contained annex which tucks in nicely in a private spot on the grounds of Fairview. The Hideaway is your own personal retreat. Small but perfectly formed and all on one level, the Hideaway consists of open lounge area, en suite bathroom and a full working kitchen equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, kettle, toaster and much more. The lounge area has a comfortable 2 seater settee with a much needed stool. A flat screen TV with build in free view and an area to sit and eat at. The large double bed is also tucked into this area for sleeping or just lounging about. Outside, apart from the fabulous views there is also an area for dining or to just sit and did I mention that view!!! Parking is also provided at The Hideaway, this is found through the security gates which we feel gives you a great sense of security during your stay. We also have a safe and secure area which is undercover for items such as bikes etc. At The Hideaway we also welcome your fury friends as our pet dog Ronnie is well trained and is happy to socialise with other well behaved dogs so please feel free to bring them along. Pet essentials are provided upon your stay, water bowl, spare towels, poo bags. We are happy for you to use the adjoining field, maybe feed the ducks whilst your down there but could we ask that you do clean up after your pet when on walks around the grounds. Upon arrival, we provide a welcome tray (dietary requirements will be catered for) we also provide tea, coffee and sugar for you to use during your stay. There is also a guidebook for you to have a look through, in it you’ll find local pubs, as we have some fantastic eateries around us, places to visit and essential numbers. Guest access At Fairview, guests will have a private place to park a vehicle that’s nice & secure. We also offer a secure place for bikes etc. Private access to The Hideaway is found through a small gate and guests are welcome to use the adjoining field. The area/garden around The Hideaway is completely private from the main house.
