Village house in the middle of the Pyrenees

Completely renovated in 2022, stay in this typical Lescun residence, divided into two separate adjoining dwellings. You will be immersed in village life at the top of the Aspe Valley, while being at the foot of the hiking and walking trails. Le Bercail de Rose can accommodate up to 6 people in an authentic and cozy atmosphere, just like the good old days. We wanted to keep its character and charm, while having all modern comforts. The space Facing south, enjoy the garden furniture to sip a drink on the terrace in front of the house. To top it off, a parasol and barbecue are available! On the ground floor, the entrance, which once housed cows, then a salt cellar, allows you to store your equipment safely (bike, ski, fishing rod, etc.). On the first floor, you have a large living room with a wood-burning stove, very nice for an evening by the fire, open to an equipped kitchen, with breathtaking views of the mountains of course! The decor is simple and warm with part of the stone wall, the ceilings and original wooden floors, customized or renovated antique furniture... You will also find a double bedroom with a queen size bed (160 wide) and a large antique wardrobe as well as a shower room/toilet with shower, sink and washing machine. On the second floor, under the roofs, formerly the hayloft where our elders stored hay to feed the cows in winter, enjoy a friendly dormitory with 2 twin beds, as well as a double bedroom with a 2-person bed (width 140) separated by an old glass roof. Also in the attic, we have set up a relaxation area with a boat bed transformed into a bench to relax with a good book, a play area for children, as well as a "teleworking" area with desk. Internet access allows you to ensure your remote work without any difficulty. On this floor, you also have a separate toilet, with sink and storage for a small toilet. Remember to bring your slippers, you'll feel right at home! Guest access You have all the amenities of our home as if you were at home. You are in our country house with all the objects specific to these houses that we want to be warm and welcoming. You will also have all the facilities such as dishwasher, cookware, raclette set, mixer, hair dryer and straightener, iron, board games, children's games, books... Other things to note - Weekly rental from Saturday to Saturday during the Christmas and summer holidays or nightly rental for other periods, with a minimum of 4 nights, or rental on certain weekends from Friday to Sunday. - 6 beds upstairs: 1 double bedroom and 1 dormitory bedroom with double bed and 2 twin beds separated by an open glass wall.
