Fairly new construction with separate entrance; 1BR guest suite with a mini bar, a full bathroom with a gorgeous stand up shower & bench. You can see the water from the driveway. Your guest suite was built as a new addition to the classic 1940's bungalows that define North Beach. Tastefully furnished with various artwork displayed throughout the unit. The guest suite is located in North Beach, MD, only several mins walking distance to restaurants, shops, boardwalk pier, beach & Chesapeake Bay. The space PROPERTY INFO: This cozy, compact suite is perfect for a relaxing stay. Comparable in size to a Hilton micro-hotel room or a cruise ship cabin (with lots of window), it’s filled with style and comfort. The unit has its own private entrance that's separate from the main house. The suite includes: • Sleeping & Relaxing: Queen bed, electric fireplace (multiple LED color options), 50” TV (with Firestick) • Dining & Workspace: Mini bar with quartz countertop, Keurig, wine cooler/mini-fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and a small table with two chairs. • Bathroom: Modern stand-up shower with bench, marble, and tile finishes. • Other Amenities: Mini-split AC/heat, USB outlets, closet, and outdoor seating (bistro table and screened porch), mini-ironing board and iron. Please note: There is no full kitchen, but a microwave, keurig machine (coffee maker), and toaster oven are provided. We use well water, and access to the suite requires climbing several stairs. Guest access You’ll have access to the suite using a keypad, and we will provide the access code along with parking instructions prior to your check-in. Free parking is available directly in front of the suite. NOTE - ACCESS TO GUEST SUITE: Please be aware the guest suite is not equipped for anyone who has difficulty walking up and down the stairs (I have steps leading to the guest suite — no ramp available, sorry). Other things to note ***ATTENTION*** For the comfort, safety, and quality of our hosting experience, and to help ensure a smooth and positive experience for all guests, we give priority with guests who have previous experience using Airbnb or VRBO and a history of positive reviews and high ratings. Thank you in advance for your understanding. HOUSE RULES & POLICIES: Please read the entire description and all associated information carefully before booking your stay. By submitting a booking request and upon its acceptance, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in these House Rules & Policies. o No parties or events o No pets (dogs or other animals) o 2-person maximum (Adults only) o No 3rd party bookings: The guest(s) occupying the property must correspond with the individual(s) listed on the booking Airbnb profile. Bookings made on behalf of another person, including, but not limited to family members, friends, or other third parties, are strictly prohibited. 🚫 No Marijuana Smoking Please note: Smoking marijuana is not allowed on the property, including medical use. The adjacent parking lot where we live (and where you will be parking your car), is county-owned government land, and smoking near it is prohibited by law, even with a medical card. OTHER INFORMATION TO REVIEW: o Not accessible wheelchair (stairs required) o Limited kitchen (microwave, kuerig coffee maker, and toaster oven only) • Outdoor Space: The suite has its own outdoor area (bistro table with 2 chairs and screened-in porch), while the main house guests use the backyard. • Street Conditions: The guest suite is several blocks from the water, visible from the driveway. The first long block to the beach/boardwalk has no sidewalk, (if you choose to walk down to the boardwalk) then you'll walk on the grass or road until reaching the sidewalk that leads directly to the boardwalk. • Tourist Area: Located in a lively, busy street in a tourist area, close to the boardwalk, shops, and restaurants, with heavy foot traffic from spring through late fall. • Water Notice: Our guest suite uses clean, tested well water that’s safe to use (inspected by Culligan Water Systems). You may notice a slight smell when first turning on the sink faucet—this is normal and will fade after several seconds of running the water. Also note, a water filter was recently installed for your comfort—just make sure the knob is facing down to avoid any unexpected sprays. • Noise: Quiet hours are from 10PM to 7AM. No excessive loud noise anytime of the day, fyi. *Other noises to keep in mind: • You might occasionally hear a soft, muffled hum from a generator or fridge that kicks on and off. • We also live near a big old tree stump surrounded by bamboo and trees, so don’t be surprised if you hear birds chirping (they often do), croaking and ribbit sounds or the gentle rustle of deer or bunnies dashing through. (They’re shy — sightings are sporadic, but magical! If you do spot them, please enjoy from a distance and no feeding or petting, no matter how cute they are!) • Experience Requirements: As said previously above, for safety and comfort, we prefer guests with prior experience on Airbnb, VRBO, or similar short-term rental platforms, along with high star ratings and positive reviews. If you’re new to short-term rentals, then we will need to ask a few questions to learn more about you and ensure it’s a good fit (for everyone), before confirming your reservation.
