This cabin was built in 1922 and has been lovingly maintained & upgraded. We're walking distance to restaurants, shops & a local microbrewery. Our guest cottage features a private deck overlooking Strawberry Creek and a natural fern garden, providing the perfect retreat and ideal setting for your morning coffee or afternoon wine. The kitchen includes a vintage stove & refrigerator for light meal preparation & the bedroom comes with a SleepNumber bed for your personalized sleeping comfort. The space In addition to the view of the creek from the back deck, you'll find yourself immersed in a secret garden, with meandering paths of cobblestone to guide you. And in the middle of this garden is a greenhouse/gathering space. The perfect place to enjoy the beauty of the trees that surround it, sit and listen to the rain on the roof, or watch a magical snowfall. The cottage is uniquely situated on a half acre that provides the ultimate quiet getaway. Fern Creek Cottage requires that all guests comply with Riverside County Ordinance #847 & honor quiet hours between the hours of 10pm to 7am. Riverside County Permit # 001724 Transient Occupancy Registration Certificate #71-392 Guest access Our guests have complete access to the guest cottage and back deck, the greenhouse, the swing overlooking Strawberry Creek and a covered sitting area overlooking the creek. Other things to note Our cottage is ideal for a couples get-away or a solo retreat. Therefore, it is limited to a maximum of two guests (no infants/toddlers) and we've set it up to provide a safe place for those with pet allergies by not accepting pets.
