Lake in the front (right across the road)and woods in the back of the house, quiet neighborhood. Close to 2 state parks and Nature Arboretum. We provide you with 2 bikes and helmets, 2 kayaks, drinking water filtered by reverse osmosis system. You will have your private beach with chairs and beach towels. You can enjoy time on the porch in the back of the cottage. There is an herb garden for you to use for cooking and tea making. Please note: we share the backyard with the cottage. The space The space can accommodate no more than THREE guests at a time. The space is NOT infant or toddler friendly due to breakable decorations, sharp edges, steps, etc. The cottage has two living rooms. One faces the lake and the second one faces the woods (tv with Roku is there). Master bedroom has a queen bed, extra pillows and blankets. Second bedroom offers two twin beds with extra pillows and blankets. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave oven, stove/oven, coffee maker, reverse osmosis water purification system. Please note, we do not allow extra guests and the cottage is not infant/toddler friendly. Guest access The house is for you to use. We use the basement for storage purposes, please do not use it. The backyard, front yard, beach - yours to use. Please, note that the backyard will be shared with us as we use the potting shed, greenhouse, garage and take care of the garden. We are not going to be in the backyard all the time - very occasionally. The garage is unavailable for the guests. Please note, we do not allow more than 3 guests and the cottage is not infant/toddler friendly. Other things to note We are asking you to make sure that nothing besides toilet paper goes into the toilets. Also, please have exhaust fans on in the bathrooms while taking shower. We have a shower in one bathroom and a tub/shower in the other one. There is an extensive Welcome Binder for you in the house. The info on house specifics ( appliances, thermostat, recycling, etc) as well as local attractions and maps are there. Please note the cottage is NOT infant/toddler friendly. We ONLY can host 3 people. No exceptions. Prior to using bikes or kayaks, please remember that you must sign the waiver of liability (you can find it in the Welcome Binder). Take a snapshot of the signed waiver and send it to us prior to using the equipment. Thank you! 😊
