Comfy Room - walk to Royal Palace

This listing is for one private room with en-suite bathroom on 2nd floor of a fully renovated building in the very center of Bangkok old town. The room features real hard wood floor and the loft interior is reminiscent of Bangkok old days. The room features a very comfortable mattress to ensure your good sleep. There's shared living area and kitchenette you can use. You can walk to the Royal palace, Wat Pho, the Giant Swing, and Khaosan road in minutes. Subway Samyot is only 7 minute walk away. We offer private bedroom with private en suite bathroom on 3rd floor of the newly renovated townhouse at the center of Bangkok old town. The bedroom is about 240 square feet. 6th floor of the house is a roofed balcony with the rare sight of Bangkok old town. Sunset viewing from the balcony with the top of the Royal palace in the foreground is a special experience. The house is located in Phrayasri alley and near the intersection of Fuengnakorn road and Charoenkrung road. It is only 500 meter away from the Royal Palace, 400m from Wat Pho, 800m from the Giant Swing and 700m from Chaophraya river boat pier. So this is an ideal base for you to explore the old town. The apartment is situated in an original goldsmith community. Some of our neighbors are still making these jewelry pieces by hand here. So the area is authentic and it is also a very safe area. We supply fresh bedding, towels and soap for every stay. If you stay more than a week, we change the bedding, towels. If you have any specific needs, please kindly ask. Please note that the windows in the bedroom and bathroom have no mosquito net. When guest left the window opened, insects (but not pest) can come in. If you are someone who would avoid insects at all costs, 4th floor room is more suitable for you. No smoking please!!! Guest access Apart from the private bedroom and bathroom, you can use the shared kitchenette and living room. There is a washing machine in the kitchenette and laundry hanger in the back of 2nd fl. But there's no place to dry a big load of laundry so please ask us. We charge a small fee and our maid will do the washing and take the cloth to dry and fold for you. Please note that storage room on 4th floor and 5th floor is our private area. During your stay Stay with us - 12 year hosting experience and a superhost all along. You can message us if you need help. We stay in another building 10-15 minutes drive away and we'll try to fulfill your request as soon as we can. Other things to note The listing is for one bedroom only. There's normally one king sized bed in the room. If you book for three adults or you request an additional bed for two guests, we add an extra bed in that room beside the king bed The alley in front of the house is not tidy but it is very safe. Residents here frequently left the door opened or unlocked as they are not concerned about safety. So please don't be concerned. Being reasonably careful as you will be anywhere in the world is all that's necessary. This room has big wooden window that are to be kept closed when opening the aircon but has two glass panes at the top of the window. As a result, natural light into this room is a bit dimmer than usual. If you would like to get a brighter room, please book room 3 or 4 instead.
