Mongolian yurt sleeping 2+2 with outdoor space

Come and stay in one of our 2 lovely yurts or bring your friends and hire them both! Private location surrounded by nature and the sound of the river. The yurt is situated on an organic small holding in the beautiful Welsh valleys. You have to cross a foot bridge to get to it. Leave your car on one side of the river and walk to your accommodation. We can also provide fruit and veg as we run an organic market garden in the summer months. The space The 6.2m yurt is spacious and has a generous kitchen space inside with all the essential equipment. There is no fridge but we’ll provide you with a cool box should you need to store perishable food items. There is a king sized bed and a sofa that can be unfolded to create a double bed so a family of 4 can happily fit in this space. We’ll provide all the logs to keep you warm and comfortable throughout your stay. There is a compost loo and gas fired shower at the back of the yurt. Guest access The yurt is located on a small holding and you’ll be able to walk across our land should you wish to see the animals or simply be in nature. There is a track that leads away from the yurt through oak and pine forest. Wellies are essential, especially in winter as it’s often muddy. Other things to note Please note there is a footbridge that spans the river without support in the middle and can therefore be rickety at times. If you’re scared of heights or suffer from vertigo bare this in mind as in winter this is the only way to access the yurt. In summer, when the river is low, you can cross a ford to get to the other side. We grow a lot of organic fruit and veg so in summer months you can buy some produce for your stay. There is plenty to do in the area. We are 40 minutes away from the coast. The scenic Cadair Idris is half an hour away. There is Hafren Forest with the source of river Severn. The lovely market town of Machynlleth is only 12 miles away. We'd encourage you to stay for 2 nights to fully enjoy the local area as well as the immediate location of the yurt.
