If you are into boating, charters are available for stunning views of the neighboring islands or fish the southern Florida seas and unique Pine Island Sound fishery! Captiva is a unique and exciting island to explore! Many restaurants, stores and beach access within walking distance. Cycle to your heart's delight around the island or get even more adventurous and explore Sanibel Island, our nearest neighbor. Or you can rent a golf cart for your stay to get around Captiva Island. Edit Our condo is a private residence within the South Seas Island Resort. Amenities included are the large Bayside Villas heated pool, hot tub, BBQ grills, free on-site parking, Bayside marina access (for small fee), EV charging stations near, beach chairs & umbrellas provided by us and all the beaches. All other Resort amenities are NOT included (items not included are 9-hole golf course, resort designated beach chairs, pool complex and restaurants 2 miles north of our location - all amenities on north end of resort not included). Our condo, located in Bayside Villas is within walking distance to the quaint Captiva Village and numerous restaurants/cafes and shopping are very close by. Beautiful beaches are also within walking distance and we provide beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. There are no private beaches so you can put up your beach umbrella and chairs anywhere on the beach you desire! Our kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless appliances, including a Keurig coffee maker. If you intend to cook your own meals, a suggestion would be to purchase groceries before you arrive. Groceries on the islands are pricey but can be delivered from Bailey's or Jerry's, both on island. Royal Shell is our property manager and communicates directly with you for key pick up and check in instructions prior to your arrival. Keys are typically picked up, on and off business hours, at their Sanibel lsland location en route to Captiva. After check out, keys can be returned anytime at either the Sanibel or Captiva Royal Shell office.
