The cottage under the hill of Mas Rojac

Independent single-story family gîte, not enclosed, between pine forest, scrubland and vineyards. Accessible to accompanied PRM. 4 to 6 places. Covered terrace with garden and village views. Garden furniture and plancha. Living room overlooking the terrace, TV and wifi equipment. Equipped American kitchen. 2 bathrooms. 2 bedrooms (2 beds 90 and 1 bed 140) + mezzanine 2 children's beds (70x180) with toilet. The space The Mas Rojac site consists of 3 independent rural cottages and our accommodation. Your arrival: We ask that you let us know what time you will be arriving. We will be waiting for you in the late afternoon between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. Do not leave a message on the landline. For GPS that do not know the place (Garmin for example), the coordinates are (E) 02°56'863 (N) 43°00426,223. Baby equipment: We have equipment available to share in the 3 gîtes. Ask us in advance what you want to book (subject to availability): - 2 crib beds - 2 changing cushions - 1 small bathtub - 3 high chairs - 1 buggy - 1 car booster seat Bedding: Mattresses, pillows and duvets are protected by a cover. For hygiene reasons, please do not remove them and put your bedding on top. Sheets not included, possibility to rent on site at €10/bed. Parking: In order to guarantee the tranquility of the place, the entire site is pedestrian. Parking is at the entrance of the domaine, 50 meters from the cottages. However, access by car to the doors of the cottage is accessible at all times for unloading and for people with reduced mobility (my mother is elderly, so she is allowed to access her accommodation). The Mas being isolated and vast, your trailers, bicycles or windsurfing boards will be easily stored next to your cottage. Activities and shops: Some suggestions about leisure: Walking (Cathar trail at the foot of the village), horseback riding, biking, or car tours; Sport: sailing (wind and kitesurfing / Leucate = site of the wind world), mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, swimming (sea, pool, river); Visits: places, schedules, distances, time, etc. A binder has been prepared in your gîte containing all the possibilities (non-exhaustive list) of the region: Restaurants, equipment rental, supply, doctor, garage, etc. We have prepared a selection of information in this binder. However, it is impossible to be complete as there are many things to do or see in the area. You will find the must-sees and our favorites. If you fall in love with a site, a restaurant, remember to bring us the documentation or business cards and tell us about your experience. Your feedback and discoveries will be welcome for the following guests. Regarding waste: Le Mas is not connected to the sewers but is equipped with septic tanks. It is therefore strictly forbidden to use bleach or other disinfectant, to dispose of dirty or soapy water, cigarette butts, sanitary pads and any other waste in the toilet. Remember to dispose of cleaning water on the terraces for example. A garbage bag container is 300 meters away, at the junction of the estate with the departmental road. If you want to do selective sorting: A mini container park is located in the middle of the village, opposite the rugby field. It consists of a general waste container, a cardboard and paper container, a glass container and a PMC (plastic-can) container. Regarding the pool: We have a swimming pool reserved for the owners. It is not accessible to guests. Regarding animals: These are welcome but beware of cats, which are not appreciated by our 2 dogs that are free in the area. It is forbidden to share mattresses, cushions, bedspreads, sofas and dishes with your pets. Your neighbors may behave strangely around your pets. In order to avoid any inconvenience or even any accident, be sure to keep them on a leash in the common areas at the request of another guest. We have two Border Collie/Shepherd mixes who love to play. If their presence in the area bothers you, please let us know so that we can confine them further. Regarding the estate: It covers several hectares (4.5) and is not fenced. There are some charming places, such as the top of the hill from which you have a magnificent view of the ponds. However, wilderness presents some dangers. Remember to have closed shoes in the scrubland and supervise children in rough terrain. We pay full attention to the proper functioning of the estate. Remarks, problems with comfort, nuisances, the environment... We will do our best to find solutions. Some details may have escaped us. Don't hesitate to let us know!
