Escape in this leafy and serene space nestled into the gully above Coogee. This one-bedroom art deco apartment is the perfect spot to unwind, with a lush and useable garden just out the door and an easy 15 minute walk to three of Sydney's best swimming spots - Coogee, Clovelly and Gordons Bay. Easy public transport routes to the city, other Eastern suburbs beaches and Bondi Junction. 15 minutes to Oxford St. Lots of great food and drink spots within walking distance. PLEASE NOTE: No wifi The space The building is almost 100 years old and is made up of six apartments. It is in a classic art deco style, popular in the eastern suburbs. There is no private parking and no TV. The garden is shared, as are the washing lines in the backyard. There is some noise from the other apartments due to the nature of the old building, but it depends on the time of day and week. Everyone is very respectful of each other's privacy and space. It's a lovely spot to stay. Guest access Access to the entire apartment through side passage beside building. Use of garden, shared with five other apartments. Other things to note There are two flights of stairs down to the apartment along the side of the building. If you're keen on swimming, snorkeling or diving, please let me know and I can give you some advice about where to go and might be able to leave some gear for you.
