Drive down the private wooded road to your piece of quiet in the woods. A skipping stone away to Grand Traverse Bay, 20 min south of Charlevoix and 40 min north of Traverse City. A short 5 min drive gets you to Torch Lake. My husband grew up on this very same road. We wanted to have a place of our own to enjoy and create our own family memories while reminiscing about his childhood. We love the smell of the woods and enjoy watching the lightening bugs in the evening. The space When you walk into the house you will see the open living room with the gas fireplace on your right and the kitchen on your left. The main level has the master bedroom, sunroom/ office space, laundry and full bathroom. Upstairs has 2 additional very large bedrooms and another full bath. The sofa in the sunroom is a pullout for extra sleeping. The outside of the home has a beautiful front porch. We do not allow open fires due to the area being so heavily wooded. There is a picnic table outside as well. Guest access The detached garage is not accessible and is locked. Again the outside firepit is not to be used. Other than that the area around the home can be used for outside games etc. Other things to note We do not any animals at the home. You will have access to the water however there is no dedicated beach. The small sitting area at the water is for the owners only. The 1 mile of public beach is only 3 miles north of the home as well as Torch Lake is only 5 miles south.
