Öland with its unique environment in terms of swimming, surfing, food and fishing is reached by bridge from Kalmar in about 10 minutes. Kosta Boda with shopping and a fantastic glass exhibition is 40 minutes north, here there is also a moose safari to experience. Växjö is a trading city with a lot of pulse and nice lakes around, by train or car an hour's journey.
