The space The boathouse was built around 1860 by a noble family from Cernobbio, owner of a prominent villa and did not have direct access to the lake. Through the boathouse, suitable for hosting small boats, the guests of the villa were thus allowed to make their stay pleasant with excursions to the first basins of the Lario. By the mid-fifties, the boathouse ended up in a state of neglect and was recently purchased and completely renovated by the current owners. LAKEQUEEN is located a few hundred meters from the historic village of Cernobbio. Bordering the park of the prestigious Villa Pizzo, it has no neighbors and therefore ensures absolute privacy. It overlooks the lake directly with a private access, a feature that is impossible to find in any other accommodation facility on Lake Como, and has private dock for landing boats. The staircase brings you to the large rooftop solarium terrace, the size of the entire boathouse, where you may enjoy unique and stunning sunsets on the water. On the lower floor, connected by an internal staircase, you find the sleeping area with 220 x 200 cm super king size double bed and a wardrobe-closet, flat-screen TV, and Sonos Hi-Fi stereo, with an en suite bathroom with shower. Exiting the main door from the bedroom, you come to the stone terrace with private waterfront with lake access, equipped with an outdoor shower having hot and cold water, deck chairs and all the necessary comforts to enjoy the sunshine, the sunset or have a swim. Guest access LAKEQUEEN features a private dock for the convenience of transport by boat, whether it is a boat tour with driver or a boat on rent to lead by choosing the favorite destinations. From the parking space, access to the LAKEQUEEN boathouse is via an ancient and picturesque staircase, renovated using the original stones from the end of the 1600s.
