Enjoy easy access to over a dozen Tahoe area ski lifts, endless Eastern Sierra adventures, award-winning restaurants and stunning views from this charming urban bed & breakfast. Welcome to our humble, happy home! We're an adventurous couple seeking a simpler life here in Northern NV. There are random rooster crows, occasional yelling goats and two awesome dogs. Perks of our of little backyard farm are warm snuggles, funny animal antics, and a full farmhouse breakfast offering. The space We live on a 1.3 acre property on the north end of Carson City with easy access to the highway, Lake Tahoe, surrounding hills, and a regional hospital. We have shared space to offer our guests which consists of a living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, yoga room and hallway bathroom. We also offer guests your own living room which includes an optional breakfast buffet, dining space, and a private bathroom. The private, large bedroom includes a super comfy queen sized bed and full closet space. We offer pull down shades and curtains to create a nice little nest for sleeping, if you'd like. In the closet you'll find hangers and two pairs of snowshoes (in winter) for your use. If using snowshoes, please leave outside on entry patio to clean and dry before bringing back in the house. Guest access In addition to the spaces discussed above, guests are welcome to the outdoor patio and inner fenced backyard area. Please beware of any "treats" left by our animals. They tend to explore in the winter snow and leave deposits in the least ideal of areas during this season. We have muck boots available for guests who wish to explore the backyard and prefer to not dirty their own shoes. We are a shoeless home, so please keep that in mind when coming in/out the external doors. During your stay We have a home office and music room that we both work from home within. We also have work outside of the home that takes at least one of us away from the house 3-5 days per week. We are happy to interact as much as our guests would like and can be available if and when needed. Other things to note Please feel free to hang coats, hats or jackets on the coat racks in the living room, on the hangers in the coat closet behind the front door or on the coat racks in the hallway. Should you need gloves, scarves or socks, just let us know, we have an abundance to keep you warm, if needed. Bed and Breakfast bedroom and private bathroom with exclusive use of a private lounge and access to the patio and backyard. The owners have 2 pet dogs at the location.
