Technology - Fastest available spectrum wifi (200+Mbps), plenty for video calls, etc. - It is very fast, we have had zero issues including many people working remotely from here. - Nest thermostat with central air conditioning and heat - Additional evaporative cooling system for simultaneous cooling and humidifying available - Samsung Frame QLED 4k Smart TV *This is a 4 bedroom house, which we do lock the additional 2 bedrooms. Guest access Guests will have the entire property to themselves including full house, pool, and other areas. Other things to note Upon booking, you agree to the rules of the property and accept the fines if found in violation: - Check in is at 3pm. - Check out is at 10am. Our cleaners will be arriving soon after. - Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00AM. This is a very strict rule from the City of Twentynine Palms. If a neighbor complains of loud noise, or if a Sheriff needs to visit the Property following a complaint, there will be a $500 fine for every instance. - **Please mind the steps when the entering into the living room and front entrance** We would like to stress this portion as many of our guests have immediately admired the house upon entrance that they completely forget about that step!! There is also a sign on the wall. Please be careful. - Please remove shoes when in the house. They can be stored in the coat closet. - The hammocks outside have a max weight of 150 lbs. - Please do not throw any paper towels or heavy items into the toilets as we are on a septic system. - We have very sensitive piping in the house, please do not throw food down the kitchen sink. An emergency plumbing fee will be charged if any clogs are caused. - You are welcome to park and charge your car in the garage. You will find the garage opener on the kitchen counter in a little bowl. Top left button opens it. Please remember to leave them in the same bowl as you've found them at the end of your stay. $100 charge for lost garage door opener. - We do have a noise monitor, which does not record, but rather measures the decibels. - No glassware around the pool. If any glass, food, defecation, cigarette buds, vomit, or anything else that compromises the pool, a $1000 fine will be charged. - We do provide a pool fence (located in the garage) or pool alarm (will need to be switched on) if needed. - Please make sure you do not turn on the swamp coolers if you are using the AC (Nest in the hallway). They are only useful if the outdoor temperature is below 85 degrees. - It gets pretty windy in the high desert. Please do not move the umbrella and close the it when not in use and when you vacate the property. To make adjustments to the umbrella, there is a handle that can be dislodged and place to another part to tilt for shading. Feel free to reach out if you are not able to do it. Also please note that the pool loungers are delicate. - It would be much appreciated if you can start a load of white towels right before you leave as this will help us greatly in the cleaning process. - No food or sharp items on the imported tatami mats. - We have a very strict **NO PARTY* rule at the house. The house is located in a very quiet neighbourhood with retired military and law enforcement residents. - No smoking in or around the property. $500 cleaning fee will be implemented if remnants of scents are found. - No wet clothes on any of the furniture as it will cause permanent damage. - Unregistered guests or visitors cannot use the property at any time. -Breaking any occupancy rules or tampering with cameras will result in being asked to leave without receiving a refund. - Pets are not permitted on the property at any given time. Undisclosed animals will lead to a fine of $800. We use this as our vacation home and our son is highly allergic. - Please rinse off before using the hot tub as we’d like to keep it as clean as possible for all guests. Also please place the cover on whenever not in use. - Pool and hot tub are serviced on Wednesday morning by David and our gardener also waters our exterior plants during this time. - Guest agrees to hold Host and owner harmless of any injuries. - Guest acknowledges full understanding of the dangers of using the pool, which can include a drop in blood pressure and even drowning. - If there is any lost income as a result of Guest violating any of these House rules, the violating Guest will be charged for those losses. - Please do not remove toiletries/supplies from the house. Any unreasonable missing ones will be charged. Please note that we are on instant book, but for guests that do not have any reviews, we do ask that they provide a copy of their valid government ID after we accept the reservation.
