The first Airstream Airbnb in Gauteng!

Come and get cozy under the stars! Airstream Amy is waiting to share her beautiful space, nestled among blue gums right on the edge of the Vaal Dam, on a private little island peninsula. She has traveled all the way from the USA to proudly choose her final destination in sunny South Africa. Just an hour’s drive from Johannesburg, she is perfect for a magical quick getaway. Please ask us for more information about our airstrip. The space Amy is a beautiful 1975 Airstream Land Yacht who has arrived from the USA and now settled on the farm here at the Vaal. She has been kept as her original self and has everything you need for a comfortable glamping, camping experience. You will be nestled among the trees right by the waters edge. Dine inside or out depending on the weather, cook on the gas braai outside or use the gas oven with gas stove top inside. Seating is either inside or outside, with bubble chairs and a hammock hanging from the tree to relax and chill while watching the beautiful sunsets. Besides the very (cute) and compact bath and toilet inside Amy, we have an “uithuisie” (outhouse) for use with a shower and toilet. There is also a small prep area in the uithuisie if needed and a Solardom microwave to use. Just a note to please check for ticks if you have been walking around. Explore the dam with the little Pelican paddle boat or canoe. There is WiFi available and access to Netflix for those rainy days! Guest access You will be staying on a private little island peninsula just off from the main farm house and have the island all to yourself. Other things to note We have an airstrip on the farm, so for those who fly and would prefer a quick 20 minute flight to an hour car ride (from Jhb) be in touch so we can plan access.
