Walking distance to Cheney Stadium, and easy access to the freeway make downtown Tacoma, Seattle, Gig Harbor, University Place or other nearby locales an easy drive. Bus lines nearby with direct routes to downtown, the mall and transfer stations for easy access to Seattle. We are a welcoming environment and look forward to meeting you. The space The bedroom is quiet and sports a queen-sized bed, nightstands with reading lamps, a small writing desk, a comfortable chair, extra blankets and closet space. There is a portable heater and a ceiling fan for comfort. The bathroom is adjacent and fresh linens and towels are supplied. A TV with an Amazon Fire Stick is mounted on the wall for your entertainment. Hulu, Prime Video and a few other streaming services are provided. Guest access Enjoy your quiet space. Sit quietly on the deck in the yard and listen to the bamboo rustle in the wind or read quietly in the old rocking chair in the living room or by the fireplace downstairs. If you plan to use the kitchen I'm happy to make room in the refrigerator and to explain things as needed. Coffee is available in the morning per request. During your stay I am available to help if you need something, though I'm often busy around town as well. Let me know what you need and I'll try to accommodate. I'm always willing to try and make things right rather than hear afterwards that something was amiss. Other things to note Two cats live in the house but are not allowed inside the guest room. Parking is available, either on the street or in the driveway (left side only). Easy access to/from Seattle and SeaTac airport via mass transit. Walking distance to Cheney Stadium, home to the Tacoma Rainiers minor league baseball team, Tacoma Defiance & Reign Football Clubs.
