River Retreat is in a perfect location for fishing, wildlife spotting and seeing the boats pass by on their way to and from the River Yare. Set in a tranquil location at the entrance to our small, quiet marina with quay headed moorings for your own or hired boat and for use by our holiday lodge guests only. Tastefully decorated with double french doors leading to the veranda with water views. Bring your kayaks/paddleboards/canoes and explore the broads. Local boat & canoe hire possible. The space Bedrooms Bedroom 1 – Double Bed Bedroom 2 – Double Bed Bedroom 3 – Twin Beds Bed linen provided. Bathrooms Bathroom with a shower cubicle, toilet and hand basin. Separate toilet.  Hand and bath towels provided for number of guests staying. Starter toilet roll provided. Open Plan Kitchen/Diner/Lounge Kitchen fully equipped with oven, stove, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, dining and cooking essentials, dishwasher & washing machine. Tea towels, J cloth, sponge, washing up liquid, antibacterial surface spray, hand wash, dishwasher tablets and a starter kitchen roll are provided. Lounge with Smart TV and Dining area seating 6 guests. The double French doors lead out to the veranda with dining furniture and steps down to the garden with picnic table and the waters’ edge. Mooring and Parking Private quay headed mooring. Please advise if you are bringing a boat and need use of the slipway. Private Parking x 2 cars. Additional parking is available in the main carpark free of charge to guests – please request. Dog friendly holidays Our lodges are pet friendly, we charge £30 per pet. Maximum of 2 dogs. Please request and pay for additional dog directly with Norfolk Holiday Lodges ltd. Guest access Whole property and outside enclosed space. Access to river from unfenced decking. Quay headed mooring for your own or hired boat. Other things to note *****Road maintenance on Riverside Estate will be taking place on Monday 19th May 2025 this may take up to two days to complete. The roadway between numbers 42 and 52 is the area work will be concentrated on apart from filling in potholes on other parts of the road. There will be disruption but Anglia Roadways will do their best to accommodate those entering and exiting this part of Riverside as best they can.***** Electricity and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair on request. Fish bait fridge and 4 x recliner sun loungers. Fishing is permitted in open season only (16th June - 14th March) and a rod permit is required. Check with The Broads Authority with regards to boat/kayak etc tolls. Please note that there is unfenced deep water at the end of the garden.
