The space In the heart of Toronto's Riverside - Leslieville neighbourhood, welcome to my home. A bright, clean main floor apartment with tons of natural light and modern finishes. There is also a Shopper Drug Mart (which also sells groceries) as well as a Starbucks and many boutique cafes and restaurants just around the corner. Just steps away from public transit, which will have you on the subway in under 10 minutes. Or enjoy a short walk to Gerrard Square (Food Basics, No Frills, Walmart, etc.) East Chinatown and Greektown on the Danforth, one of the city's top destinations for shopping, exploring, and especially dining. The "east side" is also blessed with amenities for outdoor lovers. It's within walking distance to scenic Withrow and Riverdale parks and about a 5 minute streetcar ride to the Beaches. The area has a plethora of walking and biking trails including Don River Trail, Tommy Thompson Park and Waterfront Trail (which will take you east towards the Beaches and west past downtown to Etobicoke). In the apartment, I offer a spacious bedroom with a double sized bed (Ikea memory foam mattress), closet, a 4 piece bath and kitchen with a full sized fridge, stove, and microwave. Premium cable, broadband WIFI and TV with Disney+ are included. You'll also find plenty of kitchen essentials (pots, pans, plates, cups and utensils), towels, blankets, toiletries, a fan and a space heater. You will also have access to a shared washer and dryer (with supplied detergent) and a laundry sink. If requested, an office chair, surge protector and monitor can be provided for a home office setup - the dining table can be converted to an L shaped desk. Overnight permit street parking is available for around $45 CAD per week and can be purchsed in advance. I can assist with this. There is also a possibility of having free overnight surface parking for up to two weeks per month at my other condo unit (2 minutes away). Please inquire for more details. Sorry but no pets allowed, including service animals, due to severe allergies by the family. Guest access Full first floor & self-contained apartment with private kitchen, private bathroom, private bedroom and private living space. Shared laundry facilities on main floor, just outside of the apartment. Common vestibule area shared with the landlord and his family. Other things to note This is a mid-term rental with a minimum stay of 31 days. As a result, no additional Canadian taxes (HST) is applicable. It is intended for travelling guests, those on vacation or some other temporary purpose as there is a maximum stay of 186 days. International students and temporary foreign workers are especially welcome during their search for longer term accommodations.
