Studio C - in a sculpture park on the river

Newly renovated, totally unique 1000 sq ft urban loft space set in the country/mountains located on the banks of beautiful Sacandaga River in a nationally recognized 9 acre sculpture garden and artist studios. Perfect for a romantic get away or longer stay. Unlike most hosts, we don’t charge a cleaning fee which makes our nightly price very reasonable and competitive. We have a hi-speed (220/240) Tesla charging station and blazing fast high speed fiber optic internet. The space The guest space is situated in one of the mill buildings, an independent part of the historic 200 year old complex. We were featured on the nationally broadcasted HGTV's program "reZONED" a series celebrating outstanding repurposed living spaces in the US. Studio C was included in a recent article in Adirondack Life Magazine (Jan-Feb 2015) "Radical Rentals". We just installed fiber-optic internet - blazing fast and reliable!! We offer an open apartment with big windows and great views, new private deck with table and sun umbrella, gas grill and campfire pit, Satellite flat screen TV and DVD player, Fiber optic WiFi (crazy fast and reliable), streaming TV (via Roku), Bose radio, I-pod port with speakers, well equipped kitchen, (well-stocked with cooking staples), large oven/stove built into the granite top island, big fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, French press coffee pot, coffee grinder, complete bathroom with large shower and new marble top vanity. The romantic getaway features an unique king-size bed and platform perfect for a couple. There is also a full size fold-down futon/couch to accommodate extra guests. We provide towels, fresh pressed linens and all paper products. Our guests live within the garden and have easy access to all season activities. Other things to note We are working sculptors - we love to show our studios, gallery and sculpture garden. near by: Spring-Fall there is nearby coffee bar overlooking lake and an ice cream shop in town walking distance of house. LOTS of outdoor, year round activities. Warmer weather is great for swimming, kayaking, hiking, lots of remote waterfalls to explore...we will share all the local details on how to get to them all. Antiquing is great up here, Saratoga is 40 minutes away, Blue Mountain Lake Adirondack Museum one hour in other direction. Fall is stunningly beautiful foliage! Winter activities include: Downhill ski Gore - 35 minutes away Downhill ski Oak - 15 minutes with tubing and very cheap skiing - great for beginners X country Lapland Lake - 25 minutes - world class cross country resort with dining, skating, tubing, reindeer!
