Description

If you're interested in a sweet Catskills bungalow for fishing, kayaking, swimming or just escaping, this is the ideal spot. Accessible from all directions, the house is a 2.5-hour drive from NYC and just a five minute walk to the East Branch of the Delaware River. The space Built in 1910, this delightful Craftsman house has three bedrooms on the second floor and one office. The house is on a quiet street and is surrounded by mountains on all sides. The master bedroom is extra large, with direct access to the large modern bathroom. There is an an enclosed porch in the front of the second floor that is perfect for reading. The first floor has cozy dining room with a large table. The living room includes two couches and a SmartTV. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, stove, toaster oven, microwave, refrigerator and lots of cookware. There's a large bottled water dispenser. There's another bathroom with a shower just off the kitchen. The front porch is a lovely Craftsman motif and is perfect for relaxing. The back deck has a table and chairs and is an excellent place for meals, drinks, or just having coffee. There is a gas grill next to the rear deck. Don't let looks deceive you. It definitely works! Guest access Guests have access to main areas of the house, including yard and back and rear porches. Basement access is off limits to weekend guests. Only week renters have access to the washer and dryer in the basement. There are two storage closets in the master bedroom that are private and not accessible. Other things to note The house is pet friendly. If you have pet allergies, you may want to take note. The house does not have land line telephone service or a cell signal. Most users would need to use wifi calling. Which works fine. If you don't have wifi calling set up on your phone, I'd suggest doing so while you have a cell signal. There is a Sunoco gas station on Route 30, just off the Route 17 exit, three miles from the house that has cell service if you need it to set up wifi calling.
