Our guest pavilion is characterized by modern architecture and a simple but warm interior design. The transitions from the inside to the outside are fluid. The pavilion has two separate bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The open-plan living area with integrated kitchen leads directly to the sunny terrace and opens up a breathtaking view of the lush garden and the massive Table Mountain. The space The property is located in close proximity to the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and is only a few minutes' drive from the wineries in Constantia and Cape Town. It is a very quiet and completely safe area where you can take your morning walk or daily run right from the Pavilion in the surrounding neighbourhoods. The guest pavilion has a separate entrance and is connected to the main house by the large terrace. Nestled in the natural surroundings of Bishopscourt, the Pavilion offers a tranquil retreat that invites to relax, contemplate and enjoy. The pavilion has two separate bedrooms with king-size beds and each with its own en-suite bathroom, as well as an open-plan living/dining area with a fully furnished kitchenette. The pavilion is fully equipped with modern design furniture and offers an office infrastructure for convenient working from home. Electricity and internet access are guaranteed at all times. Thanks to our own PV panels and solar batteries, we are self-sufficient and are therefore not affected by any power outages in the local grid. Upon entering the house, a long, window-side corridor leads into a light-flooded, open-plan living and dining area. The kitchenette is fully equipped and has all the necessary cooking appliances and utensils for daily use. The living area with designer sofas offers all the amenities for a cozy evening to relax, chat and enjoy. All this under the impression of the lush garden and the breathtaking view of Table Mountain. Each of the two bedrooms is thoughtfully designed and serves as a private retreat that reflects the modern style of the entire home. The two en-suite bathrooms have a walk-in shower under a skylight and a spacious vanity with first-class Corian finishes. The flexible wooden shutters in front of the large windows provide the necessary privacy for a comfortable stay. In front of the gazebo is a private sundeck with two sun loungers and comfortable seating for sunbathing or simply unwinding. The terrace offers an unobstructed view of the green nature with numerous trees and the Table Mountain The terrace also connects the pavilion with the heated 25 m long swimming pool. Guest access There is separate access to the guest-pavilion, to the barbecue area (braii) and the 25m heated pool for swimming. Other things to note For guests who stay 7 nights or longer, the Studio will be cleaned and serviced once a week. This includes also the changing of the bed linen and all towels. This service comes without additional cost. We also offer an inhouse laundry service for the private clothes of our guests for R200/5kg basket.
