House on Zamkowa Street

Only a 7-minute walk from the market square, in a quiet place on a hill. There is a large garden with a swimming pool, gazebo, sun loungers and a pond. It's the perfect place for a morning coffee and quiet evenings with family or friends. This is not an anonymous apartment for rent. This is our home with character, where we spend time with our family. The interiors are full of books, paintings and memorabilia related to Kazimierz. In summer, you can use the garden and swimming pool, and in autumn and winter, you can relax by the fireplace. The space The house is equipped with everything you need for everyday functioning. In the kitchen there are: fridge with freezer, induction hob and oven, microwave, toaster, mixer, blender, juicer, Nivona coffee machine, classic coffee maker and a set of pots and pans. The living room has a fold-out table and tableware for 14 people. In the garden there is a gazebo with a large table, sofa and chairs. Garden loungers and hammocks are also available. We can comfortably accommodate 9-10 people. We provide bed linen, towels, basic shower cosmetics and hair dryers. For the youngest guests, we have a travel cot for babies and a high chair. Ground floor Living room with kitchen and fireplace – fold-out sofa for 2 people. Passing room with fireplace – single or double bed 160 cm (fold-out). Room for 4 people – two single beds 90 cm and a sofa bed. Bathroom with shower. Upstairs Bedroom – double bed 160 cm. A place for a travel cot for a child. Bathroom with bathtub and bidet. Guest access Guests have the entire house and garden at their disposal. Some of our private places are marked or closed. There are many small items in the house (old jugs, sculptures, clocks, paintings), as well as steep stairs. Please be careful, especially with children. Other things to note Access to the house Most of the roads in the center of Kazimierz Dolny, including ours, are paved. It's part of the charm of the city, but it requires careful driving. The road to the house leads uphill and is picturesque, and the last section is a private driveway with a steep slope and uneven surface. Access by car Due to the slope and surface, the last part of the road can be challenging. In winter, when it snows, access is usually only possible for 4×4 vehicles. In snowy conditions, we do not always have the opportunity to clear the driveway – in such a situation, the car can be left about 50 meters from the gate. We provide parking spaces for 5 cars on the property. Pedestrian access The walk to the Market Square takes about 7 minutes down. The uphill return is more demanding and takes about 10–15 minutes depending on your fitness level. The road can be difficult for the elderly, prams, and people with reduced mobility. Families with kids We welcome families with children, but it is worth remembering that the house has its own character. There are stairs, a swimming pool, a pond and many items standing on the floor, so you need to be more vigilant with small children. The character of the house and the surroundings The house consists of two parts: over fifty years old and newer, built of wooden logs. It is surrounded by nature – you can hear birds singing, see squirrels or hedgehogs. As is the case in nature, mosquitoes, spiders, wasps and bees also appear.
