The place brings back the colonial charm of Kolkata - a curated experience with period furniture, décor, artifacts, ensembles, plants in a well-designed space with abundant light and ventilation. The space is further complemented by attached balconies that allow nature to creep in. Bring your family to the Adenium House with lots of room for fun and relaxation. The space There are three completely private Bedrooms – one master bedroom with ensuite washroom and two other bedrooms sharing a common washroom. All the three bedrooms have AC's installed. Please note that the hall and the kitchen are not air-conditioned. They are organised around a spacious drawing room with convenient workstation for all your work from home needs. There is a bookshelf with interesting reading material. This space leads to a separate dining area that is conveniently located next to the Kitchen. All rooms have attached balconies overlooking the street outside, offering interesting views to the quaint Salt Lake neighbourhood. Each balcony is adorned with adenium plants. The space ensures a comfortable stay for families , friends or a group of likeminded people with total capacity to host 8 guests. All the bedrooms are well appointed with period furniture - a queen sized bed and a matching period almirah with Belgian glass, side tables with lamp shades. The room décor matches to meet the period ambience with curtains, paintings, and plants. The rooms are large and airy. The Kitchen is fully equipped with with cooking appliances (gas stove,microwave oven, toaster, mixer grinder and water kettle) and necessary crockeries, utensils. A Refrigerator, a semiautomatic washing machine, Aquaguard and a smart TV and a stable, fast Wi-Fi is available to ensure a comfortable and convenient stay. We will provide fresh linens and towels every 3 days. We have a caretaker to take care of cleaning and dusting. The place is designed to be a minimum contact stay - we are always available on phone to solve any difficulties and make sure that you have a great time at the Adenium House. Guest access The property occupies the First Floor of a private Bungalow in Salt Lake, Kolkata. Guests will have access to the entire first floor through a private entrance. Access to the rooftop organic nursery can be arranged for in coordination with the caretakers. Other things to note All tours and travel requirements can be organised from “Bengal Local” & “Khorlo tours”, a well known travel company based in Kolkata for a value-added cultural experience.
