Renting a scooter or ATV is also a great option for getting around Tulum easily. Taxi services are expensive and rates vary. Water shortages and power outages can occasionally occur in Tulum due to local infrastructure limitations. The building does not have a backup generator. These situations are beyond our control. The elevator may be out of service due to electricity fluctuations and is not offered as part of the accommodation amenities. Stairs must be used if the elevator is unavailable. This is a self-catering apartment, not a hotel.
