Mulberry Cabin is conveniently located halfway between Charleston and the capital city of Columbia in Rowesville, SC. Please note the cabin is located in a small town, not in the country. Charleston is about 75 minutes away. Enjoy a break from Wi-Fi as you watch a DVD and relax in a 130 year old rustic cabin. The space Built in 1890, Mulberry Cabin is nearly 400 sq. feet of quaint comfort. With modern conveniences such as heat/AC, microwave, refrigerator, DVD player, shower, and flush toilet, the tiny house cabin is conveniently located on U.S Highway 21 in the town of Rowesville. Please note that traffic varies on Hwy. 21 depending on time, day, and season. Many people use this road to go to the coast, particularly to the exclusive Hilton Head Island area, as do commercial trucks. No Wi-Fi is available at this time. Guest access You can use the entire cabin. Sit in the old rocking chair on the front porch or enjoy the picnic table and chairs under the covered back sitting area with large pecan trees offering shade. Other things to note Rowesville is a small town of about 300 people located near the Edisto River, one of the longest blackwater rivers in the United States. Rowesville, like many small towns, was originally a train stop for steam engine trains. An active train track still runs through town. Mulberry Cabin is across the road from the only convenience store in town. Around the corner are beautiful Victorian homes and the recently rebuilt train station, now used for town offices. While Rowesville is a very small town, it is still a town and not the countryside. There can be traffic, trains, and other noises.
