Country Glamping

Luxury glamping in the middle of the woods on 83 acres which means no hydro or water. No shower. This all season tent was voted one of the top enchanting rentals in Ontario for 2021. It includes a linen queen bed, kettle/French press, solar lights outside, battery lighting inside.Guests have access to the full property for hiking, snowshoeing and sledding. No guns or pets. One other rental located onsite. The space Welcome to The Rustic Escape. You can find us on social media. Due to the ongoing wild fires and fire bans no bonfires allowed. However a propane fire pit is provided. Guests are welcome to bring their own propane for the fire pit. Please note every year we replace our tent with a brand new style glamping tent. No running water. A foot pump sink provided for washing hands. No hydro 100% completely off grid. No heat. Guests are welcome to visit the farm animals we ask no one enters the pen and if petting the cows please refrain from petting the top of their heads. They love scratches under their chin and behind their ears. Guests have full access to the entire 83 acre property (accept dome and main house area) for snowshoeing, sleds and walking trails. Trails are groomed. No running water and no hydro. Completely off grid camping in the bush. Trail conditions may vary during different times of the season, during wet conditions expect mud and puddles. You may need to park in the driveway and hike to rentals. Check with host for details prior to your visit. We will also do our best to help shuttle you in if we are available. About a 10 minute hike in if having to park in the driveway. Otherwise if able to drive parking is across from the tent. Due to high risk of fires no open wood burning fires allowed. A propane fire pit is provided guests will need to bring their own propane tank for the fire pit. There is a severe fine if anyone has an open wood burning fires allowed. Please be mindful to the guests and their space that are renting the stargazing dome located on the property. All rentals are a distance from each other to give all guests their own privacy. When you arrive in the driveway you will see straight ahead a sign that’s says “Welcome rentals this way. Guest drive down the open field following the trail (if muddy or puddles drive around there’s lots of open field to use). You will see a sign that says “tent/dome” to your right hand side about 3/4 of the way down the field. Take that trail to your right and it will take you to the tent. Please park where it says guest parking. If trails conditions are wet or muddy please drive beside the trail in the grass. We also hosts weddings. Guest access Guests have full access to the property but asked that they keep away from the dome to give guests their privacy if being rented at the same time. Other things to note A propane bbq is available to use. Please Bring plates, utensils, cups, bowls, pots, pans, bbq utensils, condiments like salt, pepper oil as we do not provide dish ware or other items mentioned. Please know there is no heat or cooling sources provided for our glamping tent. Guests may have bonfires after 7:00pm and before 6:00an. Use large jug of water to put fire out never leave it unattended. No hunting on the property, trapping Or firearms allowed on premises! Guests may need to park in driveway and hike in during the time of seasons where it’s wet and muddy or extreme snow fall. Check with host as they may be able to help shuttle guests in. Guests are welcome to visit the farm Animals. We have highland cows, alpacas, ducks, turkeys and chickens. No going inside the pen and if petting the cows refrain from petting the top of their head as it teaches them aggression.
