Koivu Koti 2: Houghton “Birch House” trails, MTU

This is a perfect place for vacation in the UP and is centrally located in Houghton making it very convenient to enjoy this fabulous town and its surrounding areas. It is situated about 1 mile from the MTU recreational trails where you can cross country ski, snowshoe, mountain bike, hike, and run on world class trails! Michigan Tech University is less than a mile as well as historic downtown Houghton. The space This spacious home has a full kitchen stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, baking utensils, stove, coffee pot -- everything you need to cook all meals. Bedroom 1 and 2 have queen beds. The upstairs living space is very large and has a sectional sofa, 2 twin beds, as well as a daybed and TV. The sectional sofa pulls out into a full size bed with a comfortable pillow top that can sleep up to 2. The day bed pulls out into either 2 twin beds or 1 king size bed and can sleep up to 2. The TV access includes Netflix as well as Amazon prime. This is a wonderful home for families, friends, and the adventureres looking for a cozy, clean place to stay while still having the "at home feel." Located within reach of all Houghton has to offer and a center hub for Keewenaw exploration - you can't go wrong! Guest access Self check-in and check-out make guests stay one step easier. Late night checking in is not a problem. Guests have full access to their "townhouse". There is a HUGE driveway that will accomodate many vehicles & trailers. Other things to note Brand new forced air air conditioning installed in Spring 2021. There are two flights of stairs in the house you will need to climb to access the main living spaces.
