This special place on the gorgeous river Aume and centre of Aigre- butcher, Carrefour supermarket, epicurie, boulangerie, Thursday market, restaurants and bar- a hive of activity in rural France. Upstairs Bedroom 1 and 2 are large double bedrooms. Bedroom 4 ( with a single and a small double bed) is only accessible through Bedroom 2. These rooms share a bathroom off the upstairs hallway. Bedroom 3 downstairs has ensuite toilet and shower with a desk and a fold out single bed if needed. The space Open plan living/ dining room with stone walls makes this a cosy space to watch the river. A patio off the kitchen is right on the river where you can fish or just watch the fish! Courtyard garden with table and chairs and wood fired bbq completes your spacious entertaining area. Upstairs is one double bedroom on the left of the hallway and a second double bedroom on the right of the hallway. There is an adjoining bedroom with one double bed and one single which is accessible only through the second double bedroom. There is a full bathroom upstairs with shower and toilet for all the upstairs bedrooms. Ground floor also has a bedroom with desk, fold out single bed, ensuite bathroom opening to the courtyard. Please let us know if you’d like us to make this bed up. Private, quiet and tranquil and a 15 second walk into the bustling hub of Aigre. This is a one of a kind spectacular located house. Guest access All Other things to note No parking on property. When the blue gates are closed you can park in the alley in front of them. It’s safest to reverse in, then when leaving you will see a mirror opposite side of the road on your left which gives you visibility of oncoming traffic. If the gates are open.. parking can be found 100 yards down the road towards the town center, on your left near the church. Heating and electricity are included in the nightly rate. Please use energy responsibly — only turn on radiators one hour before use and turn off when going to bed (stone walls keep heat) and keep windows closed while heating is on. Excessive or continuous use will lead to additional costs for direct bookings under local energy-use rules.
