The intimacy of the 72-room property has given the resort a family feel, with a welcoming home-away-from-home atmosphere. The resort has the wonderful mix of being a quiet retreat with the benefit of a casino and other island activities, all easily accessible by local bus service. Due to its size, on-site activities are limited. The space The units are built along the main canal at the Sandyport Marina Village, a few minutes walk from the ocean beach. Units have either a pool/garden view or a canal view. There are no units on the beach. One-bedroom units have a king bed and sleeper sofa. Guest access US$100 deposit is required at check-in. There is a Gov't occupancy tax per unit/ week for STU US$39.30, 1BR US$60.80, 2BR US$83.50 and 3BR US$103.00 The resort also charges a US$10 per person per day energy surcharge for all guests 12 years and older. Other things to note Sandyport Beach Resort is located in Sandyport Marina Village at the western end of famous Cable Beach, one of the two major tourist areas in Nassau. The Village is in easy reach of theaters, restaurants, casinos, shopping and all island attractions.
