Our home is located on a quiet country road, but is just a quick car ride or walk to resorts for meals, drinks and entertainment. Mountain bike trails are located right out of the driveway. Hudson, Woodstock and Windham/Hunter Ski Mountains are all within a 30 minute drive. Pack your gear and go hiking, biking or skiing. This rental home is 1840 sq ft and sits on a 1 acre lot with 12 acres of backyard woods. Come and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Round Top, NY. Our rental home is located on a quiet residential loop with 14 neighboring homes, all on wooded lots. The road is hardly traveled. The rental backs to acres of woods making it quite private. The driveway has ample room for 4-5 vehicles. The attached garage is available to store your outdoor gear. The front porch offers a space to enjoy the outdoors while being protected from the sun or rain. Enter the home from the front porch. The foyer joins the fully equipped kitchen and living room. The decor is simple, but comfortable and the large windows provide lots of natural light. A kitchen island with stools provides a great place to prepare meals and visit. A separate dining table is also located in the kitchen. The wood ceiling and staircase provide a cabin-like atmosphere. On the first floor there are two bedrooms in the back of the home, one with a private en-suite and one with a work area. Both bedrooms offer a queen bed, full closet with hangers, bedside tables with lighting, and large windows facing the back or side yard. A full bathroom is located in the hall along with a closet stored with supplies. Upstairs you will find a large open space. To the left of the staircase you will find two single beds (open loft - no doors). To the right you will find a game area that includes a pool table, foosball table, games, cards and puzzles. The garage can be accessed through the kitchen. A small, private deck with a table and chairs and fire pit are located behind the home for outdoor enjoyment. The entire home (minus the basement), driveway and yard are open for use. You will have access to the attached garage for the purpose of storing outdoor gear including but not limited to: bikes, skis, kayaks and motorcycles during inclement weather. We live close by - right on Alpine Drive! Please do not hesitate to reach out. We want your time in Round Top to be memorable. If assistance is needed, we’re available. Our quiet neighborhood has several privately owned homes that are secluded from one another by wooded areas. The neighborhood traffic is minimal at most and slow moving which makes a great opportunity for neighborhood walks and bike rides. If feeling adventurous, we are only a 10-15 minute up hill walk to resorts. The Round Top Mountain Bike Association Trail System can be accessed from the house. It’s just a short 3 minute drive to biergartens at Riedlbauer’s Resort, Glen Falls House and the Mt. Brauhaus to enjoy meals, drinks, swimming and entertainment. All locations have free parking. Hiking in the woods, walking the country roads or mountain biking the trails (Round Top Mountain Bike Association) are great ways to access and enjoy these local resorts. While our Catskill Mountain home welcomes young families, please take notice that our staircase to the second floor/game room is steeper than usual. Please be cautious with young children.
