1100sf, single story guest house that's a couple minutes from the town of Rifle, yet backs up to vast open space. Sheltered from view of the highway by trees, boasts tremendous sunsets over the Roan Cliffs, and views of the Hogbacks and Mamm Peak. "R Farm" is a developing farm w/ sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats. The guest house is adjacent to our family home and near the barn. Abundant opportunities for local outdoor enthusiasts exist or simply stay and enjoy the abundance. The space After doing that thing you love to do in beautiful Colorado, come settle into this quaint farmhouse home. You can casually enjoy the local wildlife, venture beyond the back gate into the open space, or go on a farm tour and learn about regenerative farming. At our family farm, we strive to provide interactive, safe family friendly atmosphere, and we ask our guests to do the same. We are right next door should you need anything. Guest access Our property borders BLM Open Space! From fall to spring wild turkeys roost in the trees next to the fence line. Deer and other critters frequently visit and of course our domestic animals are part of the regenerative farming plan. Glenwood Springs is 30 mins away where they have hot springs and downtown shopping .....etc Rifle CO is 1 mile away where you have the usual restaurants and the only movie theatre and bowling alley in a 60 mile radius. Other things to note Being a regenerative farm with a variety of critters, we can not guarantee how our animals will respond to you.
