Named after Kate Shepard’s sister who was also a teacher and very active in the Mobile community. The Isabell is located on the second floor, street side. Featuring an antique iron and brass queen bed, original fireplace mantel and a private bath with tub and shower combination. The space The Kate Shepard House is boutique hotel nestled among ancient oaks and magnolias. Named after a longtime favored educator, Kate Shepard, this house was once a boarding and day school. Situated in an historic neighborhood, The Kate Shepard House provides lodging conveniently located close to downtown Mobile, the Arthur Outlaw Convention Center, The Carnival Cruise Terminal, quaint shops and neighborhood dining. The 1897 Victorian architectural icon invite you to experience a genuine southern getaway complete with charm, and comfort . The whole house is also available to book. Guest access Guests will have access to the room they’ve booked, along with all main areas of the home. This includes the living room, dining area, kitchen, laundry space, the parlor, the balcony, and the lawn.
