Tucked away on a quiet street and surrounded by tall pine trees, you can enjoy the views from the living room or on the deck, or cozy up by the wood burning fireplace with your loved ones. If you like the outdoors, its central location means you are only minutes away from activities such as skiing, lake boating, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, and hiking. An EV charger allows you to explore the mountains worry-free. The space This A-frame is 100% remodeled and tastefully decorated with mid century modern minimalist style. The main entrance is just a few steps up from the driveway. The main living space features the classic tall ceilings in an A-frame, large windows looking out to the nature filled with evergreen trees and a wrap-around deck. A wood burning Malm fireplace provides romantic ambience and is easy to start with the complimentary duraflame woodblocks. Get comfortable with our Nest thermostat, Smart home hub, Smart TV, and lightening speed Wi-Fi for streaming or work from home connection. A modern and open concept kitchen is equipped with stainless steel stove range & oven, retro style full size fridge, air fryer, and the basic starter essentials you will need to whip up a meal. If you are not in the mood for cooking, worry not, the cabin is only 3 mins away from local supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes. Recommendations will be sent to you prior to stay. A coffee station stocked with coffee beans, KEURIG pods, teas, and hot chocolates is at the end of the kitchen countertop. Downstair bedroom comes with a Queen bed and the most comfortable mattress. Blackout curtains come in handy if you prefer sleeping in. The large sliding door opens up to the backyard and access to the deck area. The loft bedroom has a King bed with open ceilings for those insta-perfect pictures. Relax on the West Elm leather bean bag overlooking the main living space. It’s our favorite corner to unwind and do star gazing through the large window above. The bathroom in the downstairs bedroom has been remodeled with a large walk-in shower. Turn on the wall heater on those chilly nights for extra warmth right after a hot shower. Plush bath towels, hand towels, hairdryer, shampoos and shower gels are provided for your convenience. The EV charger is easily accessible from the driveway. During the winter time, you will need snow chains or all wheel drive to get on the slopped driveway. Guest access Two onsite parking is available on the driveway. The entire cabin is open to you with the exception of the basement which is used as utility room and holds our cleaning supplies. It will be locked during your stay. Other things to note The A-frame is less than 1.5 hrs away from LA and Orange County, 10 mins to Snow Valley Ski Resort, 10 mins to Santas Village, 15 mins to Lake Arrowhead, and 30 mins to Big Bear Lake which offers another Ski destination. No Pet Policy: Please respect that this is also our home, and we have family members with severe pet allergies. Please keep the cabin pet-free for us and our guests who might have the same sensitivities to pets and environment. Security Camera: There are two Ring cameras outside the cabin, one by the entrance and the other on the driveway. The footage is never shared. We use them to ensure the safety of ours and our guests, to monitor snow level and road condition around the property. Please review our house rules before your booking. Winter Reminder (November - March): Remember to check road conditions on Caltrans website for highway 330 on the day of travel for snow chain requirements in the mountain. There might be snow patrols at check points on your way up the mountain. The law is strictly reinforced, so it is better to have snow chains in the car regardless of snow condition. Please keep in mind that during the winter time the temeperature tends to be in the 30s in the mountain. It is a good idea to pack extra clothes and dress in layers, and bring warm socks to keep your feet warm. The centural heating in the cabin can heat up to 67-70 degrees at night time, with additional space heater for each bedroom there should be sufficient heat. Registration details CESTRP-2022-01840
