Description

Feel your cares melt away as you enter the long private drive leading up to your personal oasis in the treetops. Perched on a hilltop overlooking a private lake, this newly renovated home has been designed with peace, serenity and comfort in mind. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Hudson Valley, only 5 minutes from the Omega Institute and just over 10 from the town of Rhinebeck, you will find nature trails, quaint towns, and fine dining in all directions. The space Welcome to your refuge in the treetops. Meticulously curated with the comforts of home, everything is provided for a peaceful and relaxing stay in nature. This three bed/two bath sanctuary is located in Rhinebeck, just two hours north of NYC. Convenient to of the local shops and restaurants of the surrounding towns of Rhinebeck, Millbrook, Red Hook, Kingston, and Woodstock. Each town has its own distinct culture and character, from local wineries, to boutique shops, fine dining, and cultural landmarks. SPACE BEDROOMS: Nestled in the treetops, each bedroom boasts stunning views of both the lake and the woods. Bedrooms come equipped with blackout and sheer curtains, 100% cotton sheets, and ample storage - with closets, dressers, and luggage racks. KITCHEN: Our newly renovated kitchen boasts an open and airy design, and is well-equipped with everything you need to cook delicious meals at home. Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and appliances are available for your use, and spices, oil, coffee, tea, and Keurig pods are all provided. LIVING ROOM: Cozy up in front of the gas fireplace on our super comfy West Elm sectional, and gather around the coffee table for quality time together. The living room is the heart of home: open to the kitchen, dining and family rooms. FAMILY ROOM: Kick back in the game room, with a 55” Roku TV, three recliners, and fully stocked games cabinet, with over 100+ different options to choose from, you will never be bored on a rainy day. YOGA ROOM: Relax in the sun drenched, multifunctional, yoga room nestled in the trees. Here you will find yoga mats, blocks, foam rollers, a meditation pillow, egg chair, and bookshelf, and enough room to practice for two. This space has a locking door and folding desk, and can be easily used as a private office. There is also a laundry nook with washer and dryer available for your use. BATHROOMS: There are two full bathrooms, one on each floor. The first floor bathroom is accessible, with a large glass walk-in shower and seat. The upstairs bathroom has a combination shower and tub. OUTDOORS: Abundant with birds and wildlife, and surrounded by woods, the land is situated just above the 23-acre non-swimming lake below. There is no direct lake access, but the views of the lake are stunning. Follow a short path a hilltop for incredible wildlife and sunset views, cook s’mores over the fire pit, BBQ on the grill, and play games on the large grassy lawn. PORCH: My favorite place to just be. The raised porch sits shaded in the treetops, with lake views, and is surrounded by nature. Sip your morning coffee on the comfy outdoor sofa while being serenaded by birds, and watch the sunlight filter through the treetops at sunset. Other things to note While no guest pets are allowed, a relative owning a cat occasionally visits. The property is deep-cleaned afterward, including HEPA filtration and full sanitization. Not suitable for guests with severe cat allergies. Please note, that while the space is completely private we do have a few nearby neighbors, and it's important to respect their privacy and property boundaries. The covered porch, which faces the pond and wetlands, is completely private, and faces only my acreage. There is a small fence on top of a hill with a neighbor below, and one on the drive up to the right. Over the summer the foliage provides additional screening for privacy, but over the winter you can see through the woods a bit to their property. Please stick to the marked trails when exploring the woods.
