Stay in our modern bungalow just steps from New River Gorge National Park & 5 mins from Fayetteville. Relax in the bright open living area after a day of adventure - rock climbing, rafting, or mountain biking. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen & comfortable sleeping quarters. Your perfect home base for exploring the park's stunning scenery! Welcome to our beautiful home! Nestled in the heart of New River Gorge National Park, our spacious three-bedroom house is the perfect retreat for groups or families visiting the area. We've recently renovated the space with all new furniture and mid-century modern pieces, making it stylish and comfortable. As this is our residence during the off-season, you'll find everything you need to cook delicious meals in our fully equipped kitchen, including appliances, utensils, coffee, and tea. The open floor plan is perfect for hosting groups, as you can cook, dine, and relax together in the same space. The living room, dining room, and kitchen all have large windows that flood the house with natural light, creating a clean and bright atmosphere. Plus, the back bedroom features a projector and Fire Stick, allowing you to stream movies and shows on the big screen. Our home has three cozy bedrooms, including one combined living room and office space. The bedroom closest to the front door features a comfortable queen-size bed, while the other two bedrooms have full-size beds. Each bedroom is attached to a full-sized bathroom stocked with fresh towels, soap, and shampoo. One of the unique features of our home is that you'll need to walk through at least one bedroom to access a bathroom, so please keep that in mind when booking. We also ask that you only use plant-based soaps, shampoos, and detergents, as we're on a septic system. We're just a short walk from the Swiftwater General Store, where you can stock up on essentials, get a warm breakfast or lunch, or grab a coffee. And if you're rafting or adventuring with Adventures on The Gorge, you're in luck, as they're within walking distance from the house. Plus, we're just a 5-minute drive from downtown Fayetteville, where you'll find a variety of dining options, including Pies and Pints Pizza, Rangefinder Coffee, Wood Iron Eatery, Cathedral Cafe, The Tap House, Freefolk Brewery, and Waterstone Outdoors. And if you need to work remotely while traveling, there's a desk in the back bedroom for your convenience. We also have a shared garage gym that includes a squat rack, free weights, exercise bike, and a climbing wall that can be made available upon request. Just let us know, and we'll coordinate workout times accordingly. Please note that we live on-site in a tiny house in the backyard, but we'll give you as much space and privacy as possible. However, if you need anything, we're just a short walk away. Thank you for considering our home for your visit to New River Gorge National Park. We can't wait to host you! Parking is located directly in front of the house, in front of the fence behind the series of mailboxes. You should be able to park 3-4 vehicles here comfortably, if you park them perpendicular to the main road (Ames Heights Rd.) Please park on gravel surfaces only. You'll be able to access our home via the keypad entry at the front door. I monitor my phone regularly, however, since I live at the AAC Campground located just down the road during the season, I'm only a quick drive or walk away if you should need anything during the length of your stay. I communicate with all guests via Airbnb messenger. If you have a more preferred method of communication, please communicate that to me as soon as possible. For the quickest response from me, please send me a message via the Airbnb app. In the event of an emergency, feel free to call or text my personal phone number provided. This house is in a neighborhood setting, located just off of Ames Heights Rd. We have a fenced in yard, away from the main road and multiple porches for relaxing outside. We are walking distance from the AAC Campground and Adventures on the Gorge. We do have a garage and a tiny house that we live in located in the backyard. You may see us from time to time entering through the back to utilize the garage or coming home to our tiny house. Our home is on a septic system, so please only use plant-based soaps, shampoos, and detergents, or the ones provided. We personally take the trash to the dump, 1x a week. Please dispose of any trash in the black garbage bin located out front. Please leave any used towels in the bathtubs or the washing machine to be cleaned prior to your departure.
