This arcade-apartment has 30+ retro games distributed across 5 cabinets, with genres for every type of gamer. Driving, 4-player adventure, classic maze, and more are all here. Enjoy luxury finishes: quartz countertops, Italian furniture, king-sized bed, and high-definition flat screens. Easy access to CFG and M&T Bank Stadium. The space This is a luxury private apartment that also happens to be an arcade. Or, if you prefer, this is an arcade that happens to be a luxury getaway. Either way you look at it, you are bound to have an unparalleled experience in the Mount Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore. Upon entering the apartment, you will be inside of the freshly remodeled kitchen. Brand new stainless steel appliances, cutlery, tea kettle, cutting boards, spices, and all the necessities of a kitchen are here. Oh, and tucked in the corner is a lovely Terminator 2 Arcade cabinet with sleek lightguns (with force feedback!) for 2 players, a light-up marquee, and an online scoreboard. Adjacent to the kitchen area is the dining space, which includes an expandable table (imported from Italy), dining chairs, coasters, and placemats. Most of your entertainment will likely occur in the next room over, the living room, the heart of the "arcade-apartment." Here, you will encounter a driving arcade cabinet, with a steering wheel, gas and brake peddles; a Street Fighter arcade for two-player action; a four-player X-men arcade; and a classic, Ms. Pac-Man arcade. Many of these games can also be played online. You will never run out of options. We invite guests to have a fun and relaxing time, but NO PARTIES of any kind can be hosted in this apartment. A large, low-profile king-sized bed is the perfect size for the cozy bedroom with vaulted ceilings. Wrap yourself up in high thread-count sheets as the sound machine hums pink noise or waterfalls in the background as you curl up and watch your favorite movie on the high definition 43 inch GoogIe smart TV. Adjacent to bedroom is your ensuite bathroom. Bathroom has all the necessary features--including an actual tub!--towels, and all natural toiletries. If you need to get work done, you have access to a private office next to your bedroom with a door between the office and room for maximum privacy. It is a video doorbell. This doorbell also records the parking lot. There are three decibel and smoke monitoring devices. They are white, disk-shapped and are located in the following rooms: the kitchen, living room, and office. These devices detect cigarette, cigar, and recreational smoking. DO YOU HAVE DIFFICULTY CLIMBING STAIRS? - Please note: This apartment is on the third floor and is only accessible by stairs. Guest access You will have access to the entire apartment throughout your stay. PARKING: One off-street parking space, directly behind the house, is included with your reservation. Guests access at the rear of the property. COMING IN FROM BWI? There is a light rail that takes you straight from BWI to right behind our house for a very affordable price. No need to spend a fortune on rideshares and/or a car rental from the airport. COMING OR GOING TO CAMDEN YARDS? There is a light rail stop right behind our home. Get on/get dropped off at the Mount Vernon stop. Other things to note Please note, that sounds do sometimes travel from other apartments or the surrounding city. However, there are no other units above this apartment. Loud noises will travel to the apartment below. The bedroom is a deluxe suite, which means that the bathroom and bedroom are connected. Guests who choose to sleep on the queen pullout will have to enter the bedroom to get to the bathroom. There are plenty of food and entertainment options within walking distance, and around the city, that I would be happy to recommend. You will also have convenient access to Artscape.
