The sandy beach ‘Las Canteras’ has a kilometre long promenade, many good restaurants and cafes, beach volleyball courts and a cheap sun lounger and parasol rental service. Waves and sun in abundance. The morning walk to the nature reserve ‘El Confital’ starts right in front of the main gate. The local bus stop is right outside the front door. The bus station ‘Sta. Catalina’ is also within walking distance, from where blue buses will take you to the airport or on a day trip to Maspalomas and Porto Morgan in the south, or inland to Teror and Tejeda. There is a car park close to the flat if you have a rental car (tip: Orlando Car Hire often have good deals, but only if you book online and specify LPA airport as the pick-up point). The flat is fully equipped and has everything you need for a carefree and pleasant stay in Las Palmas. It is ideal for two or three people. However, it can also comfortably accommodate 4 people. The neighbourhoods of La Isleta, El Confital and Las Canteras offer a range of leisure and sports activities. For those who love good food you can visit the Gastronomic Market of the Port. The surrounding area offers many places of interest such as the beach of Las Canteras, the Plazoleta de Farray, the Santa Catalina Park with the Elder Museum and the Aquarium ‘Poema de Mar’... Las Canteras is perfectly connected to the rest of the city and the island thanks to the proximity of the Santa Catalina bus station with its dense bus lines. The area is well communicated along the Avenida de las Canteras and close to the bus station of Parque Santa Catalina. The most common mode of transport among locals is by bicycle or electric scooter. Guest access The flat is located on the fourth floor of a newly built apartment building, it is barrier-free and has a lift. Common areas such as landings, stairs and lifts are shared with other neighbours. Other things to note The flat is ideal for people who want to work remotely for a while. Please note the house rules - no parties are allowed... no smoking. We would like to point out that the flat is only conditionally suitable for small children. It is forbidden (for all guests) to climb on the furniture, use the balcony without adult supervision or look over the parapet. Parents are responsible for their children.
