The icing on the cake is that you will be incredibly close to shopping, convention center, airport, etc! The space Private residence surrounded by partly untamed wilderness and carefully tended garden that follows regenerative permaculture principles. Obviously the lake and the birds are the big draw, but the tremendous biodiversity here is made possible by the on-site hosts' careful tending of the grounds. The garden boasts of ancient Texas Ebony, Honey Mesquite, Oaks, pockets of micro food forest/orchard, potager garden, butterfly and hummingbird area. Wildlife as well as humans can feast on the natural bounty. When available, guests can harvest in-season fresh greens, herbs, fruits and vegetables during their stay to prepare their own garden to fork feasts. The room itself is very spacious! On one side of the room are two queen size beds. The one closer to the window is a Casper memory foam mattress. The other one closer to the wall is hybrid mattress. The beds come with pillows of various firmness for your perfect night of sleep. The large room can be divided by an accordion style room divider. The other side of the room is for television (smart TV), a minifridge, microwave, water dispenser, coffee maker. The bathroom provides lots and lots of storage space. If you are planning to stay long term, this room definitely will be accommodate your storage needs. Guest access Centrally located, only minutes from the McAllen International Airport, the McAllen Convention Center, La Plaza Mall, Sharyland Country Club, major shopping and dining, yet when you enter our gate, you will feel transported to a faraway place. Seeing is believing. Guests can park one vehicle inside the gate. Door access code will be sent close to the check-in date. The doors have keyless entry code system. You can make the entire check in process contactless, or if you prefer, the on-site concierge can assist you. Other things to note WIFI is provided by STARLINK. We ask that only registered guests to be on the premise. Airbnb still bans any events for over 16 people. Parties will not be allowed. Absolutely no loud music. We initially had no pets policy, but since started hosting guests with pets, evaluating case by case. Please message us so we can determine whether we will be a good fit for your animal. Do not harm birds and other creatures. Upon check out, DO NOT strip beds please. Please return the gate remote to the room or the mailbox.
