Part tuscan/part hacienda on the outside and Art Deco inspired inside and out, this gorgeously unique building is full of character and light. The apartment has a massive sunny terrace full of plants, a comfy couch, table/chairs and a bbq and is ready for your summertime relaxing! There are gorgeous fully restored/double glazed heritage windows and excellent access to public transport - with a tram and bus stop 50m from your door, and two tram stops within 10min walk! Please note though, this convenience comes at a price and the apartment is located on a busy road. The apartment has all the mod-cons including a smeg fridge, dishwasher, microwave, 1 year old good quality pots/knives etc and everything you need to create a Christmas feast - this is my house, so it’s fully equipped! 2 good sized bedrooms (one with a desk for your work needs), a spacious bathroom with bath/shower, washing machine/dryer. All linen and amenities are supplied and are of excellent quality. TV has Netflix. The apartment is super bright and airy, and is full of character. This apartment is a home but I’m away regularly - this means that you'll find everything you need to live well (food/amenities etc) but it also means that it is not a hotel, and so some things are well-loved/used. Guest access You'll have access to the entire apartment and balcony Other things to note There is a supermarket, fruit store, gym, Pilates/yoga studio, takeaway stores and chemist in Union Square in Grantham street (3-4 blocks away). There are also great coffee shops (Duke of Grantham; Moo Moo’s Milkbar) and an amazing bakery (The Village Bakery) on Grantham st. Union street has an excellent strip of shops and local pub (The Union Hotel). Sydney rd is about 700m walk to the east, and has everything you could ever need - it's a great neighbourhood to explore by foot, with lots of places to discover. Part hipster, part international community, part industrial. The apartment is about 5km from the city and an ideal place to base yourself out of the madness but with everything at hand. Close to the zoo, Queen Victoria markets etc Please note - the apartment is on a busy road and can be affected by traffic noise first thing in the morning, and if you’re sitting on the balcony. It doesn't bother me, but if you're used to country living this is worth noting. *my stained glass bay windows have been double glazed and has reduced noise since last comments/reviews re noise.
