Our hideaway in Sund outside Trosa is peaceful and completely out of sight on a hill overlooking the lake Sillen. You will find three patios at different levels facing south. Below the house there is a place for swimming and fishing. The dock is shared with five other houses and there is also a swimming pool belonging to the association a walk away that are open during summertime. There are often dogs in the house so you will see dog beds.🌸 The space The house of approx. 100 square meters is divided into 2 bedrooms, living room, toilet, shower room and kitchen. The house is located at an angle and is completely hidden from view from the road and neighbors. Facing the lake and the forest, there are large window sections that provide a fantastic view. The large bedroom has a mirrored wardrobe with lots of storage options, a large double bed 2.10x2.10m and a simpler workplace. From the hall you get to both the toilet and also the separate shower room where there is a shower cubicle and washing machine. Further in the large living room with windows and a view of the lake, you will find a sofa and two armchairs. In the corner there is also a working wood stove that brightens the evenings. The kitchen, which is fully equipped, has an exit to the balcony, where in summer there is outdoor furniture for both meals and hanging out. In the kitchen there is a kitchen table with 5 seats and here too there is a wood burning stove. In the second bedroom, we have placed two bunk beds, perfect for children to sleep together. In the third room there is a sofa bed that is 140 cm wide, you will also find a TV and a nintendo video game if the weather is bad one day. At the front of the house there is a conservatory which is a very popular place to hang out on rainy days. Outside there are two apple trees and a greenhouse with herbs that you can pick for your cooking. At the back of the house are the three south-facing patios with different functions. The upper one closest to the kitchen is the dining area, where there is also a charcoal grill that is free to use (Bring charcoal). The second patio has a fabric roof in summer and offers shade, sofa, armchairs and a glorious view. When we get down to the lower patio, there is a sun deck, here there are sun loungers and also a cooling outdoor shower in the summer. In winter we have a fire barrel which is perfect for simple barbecuing. The small cabin by the lower balcony is under renovation and is not included in the stay. Next to the patio and around the small cottage are several smaller strawberry fields, even here during the season it is self-picking. A steep path leads you down to the jetty which we share with 5 other houses, here it is good for both swimming and fishing. Guest access Access to everything in the main house except for a small cottage on the grounds which is closed for renovation. Other things to note When the wind blows from the highway, traffic noise can be heard on the patio. If checking in during winter, the living room is really cold. But it warms up quickly when you light the prepared fire in the stove. November-March includes 2 bags of firewood per booking. The host family has a dog. The pool is open from mid June to mid August, depending on weather.
